The property was nice and well kept. We checked out Sunday but had requested a late check out. We were denied the late check out. We were disappointed.

Dear Odessa,Thanks for leaving a review for your stay with us. We reserve all late checkouts for our IHG One Rewards members. On top of that, the late checkouts are only based on availability. As discussed over the phone I did not have anymore late departure slots left for this morning for our members. I am sorry for the disappointment, but these privileges are set forth according to IHG Brand Standards and are then only based on availability as housekeeping must have the rooms cleaned and ready for the guests arriving later that day as check in begins at 3pm. We hope to see you again the next time you are in our area.

Clean but not worth it ! Self service !

This is the 3rd time I’ve started at this hotel and was very disappointed this time. To start with, I didn’t book until after 5 pm day of stay and checked on this hotel and others in the area. This hotel had highest rating on site and also most expensive. My daughter likes this hotel and wanted to start here but I told her it was quite pricey at $450 for 2 nights. I was upset because price had dropped and I figured it was due to time of day but then jumped right back up a minute later. That’s a hotels.com thing not the hotel but they also quoted the price with using my key rewards and I thought prove worlds be lower once I used points but points were ahead automatically deducted which seems misleading The main at the desk was very nice and helpful and hotel was clean. There were 4 in our party and only 3 towels so I walked to desk for more towels. Needs were not comfortable. Breakfast was ok with lots of choices but just ok. The next morning the housekeepers were cleaning rooms across from us and asked something and I thought she meant were we leaving so I told her we are leaving for the day so it was ok to clean. Came back that night v and room was not cleaned and again was without towels and had to b go to desk v and get more. I realize some hotels no longer clean daily but v I saw no sign in room that they wouldn’t b clean and certainly most people take daily showers. For the b price paid out didn’t seem like good service at all and 2 desk workers smoking 3’ from door

Dear Patricia,Thanks for taking the time to submit a review for your stay with us. Let me begin by explaining how hotel room rates work. Our rates are set based upon the demand in our local market, and are comparable to the other hotels in our area. Rates do flucuate and do not remain the same. They can change any time during the day or even the next day. They do not remain the same as they are determined by the demand of our local market. Being a university city our rates are higher than other hotels in other towns and cities. I understand that you had 4 guests in your party. However, please keep in mind that IHG only allows us to put enough towels for 3 guests in each room, regardless of the size or how many beds are in the room. This is something we have no control over simply because we cannot predict how many people will be in the room whenever it is cleaned and prepared for the next guest.I apologize for the issue with housekeeping not cleaning your room. This typically occurs if there is a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. We do clean stay-over rooms daily. Perhaps it was a miscommunication. Once again, I apologize for this issue and will look further into this so I can figure out what happened. I will also speak to the two front desk employees who were smoking so close to the door. That is not protocol and will not be tolerated. I will be sure to address these issues you experienced during your stay. I hope you will give us another chance to serve you again the next time you are in our area so that we can prove that this stay was an exception.Sincerely,Allen EdwardsAssistant General Manager

We do have bulk amenities in our guest bath rooms, meaning that we provide body wash, handwash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner in bottles for easy access. We provide the required total amount of towels that IHG requires per brand standard. However, please keep in mind that when rooms are cleaned, we do not know how many guests will be in that room the next time it is booked. Which is why we always have extra towels, washcloths, bathmats, and face towels at the front desk. We hope to see you again the next time you are in our area.
