Stay Away - not worth it!

I called the hotel directly several days prior to our arrival to confirm the reservation and to ask about getting a late check out. They said that isn’t a problem and to let them know upon check in. I asked them to make a note on the account. Also of note is when I called it took them 5 min to find my reservation. We arrived for check in and I reminded them that I had requested a late check out - I was told that they don’t do that. I said I called and was told it was fine but they said again that noon is checkout. We were in town for my daughter’s orientation at UKY and some of our party was staying behind so by noon they had to leave and wander town. So we got to our room only to discover that the room hadn’t been cleaned at all! Called to complain and they said to come back and they’d give us a different room. Went to the new room and the toilet didn’t flush right, the faucet was like a fire hydrant, and the pullout sofa didn’t have bedding anywhere in the room. Talked to the front desk and they said they’re out of bedding and that it’s all in the wash. So they gave us 2 blankets to put over the bare mattress. I was shocked by the whole situation - never will stay here again and this experience gives me a sour taste to stay at another Home 2 Suites anywhere. No thanks! Stay away.

The rooms were not as clean on an overall inspection. The bathtub wasn’t fully cleaned, and the shampoo, lotion, and body wash bottles had hair on it.

Other than staff being extremely rude it was a wonderful place to stay.

Hotel was adequate but service at front desk was terrible. Wouldn't honor my third party booking. Front desk staff unable to straighten out double charges without a manager on site. Checked me out of my room two days early and then because 'I wasn't in the system ' after they erroneously checked me out, couldn't explain or refund random charges on my credit card. Either a case of completely inadequate training or fraud, not sure which.
