Of the six nights we spent across this and surrounding states in similarly priced hotels, this was the priciest of all our stays. Every other hotel which was less money, was better.
In general, the lobby area was nicer than the back of the hotel, if only for having air fresheners that covered up the musty smell.
I will say that the mattress was great!
The parking lot needs to be resealed and relined, and that’s part of what makes the outside of the property look tired. For a place that has been open a few months after a substantial renovation, it already feels tired. The courtyard looks like a nice area, but the nice lights weren’t on at night, and you could look inside an old part of the building that was not renovated, and that was scary.
The breakfast needs to have some fresh, healthy options Like fruit, yogurt, plain oatmeal, etc.

I held 3 rooms with MY credit card. As the other people checked in the were asked for their credit card for incidentals, but they charged my card for the room. Paying at the property, they should not have automatically charged the card that held the reservations. They should have asked! No phone in the room, only 3 lights that lit the immediate area of them light, TV did not work, shower water was all over the floor.

Hi Cheri, we are sorry to hear you this. Cards are charged at the time of check. I am not sure what time you arrived but if it was after midnight the audit will charge the cards. We do use an App at check in that sends a welcome message and allows our guests to communicate by text with us 24hrs during their stay. The delay in the TV was due to a Spectrum outage from the storm earlier in the week. Spectrum was able to get that repaired but we do apologize for the delay

Cons:
Pool water was very cold
Pool towels were small and thin
Beds were not super comfortable
Limited wash cloths supplied
Lighting in room wasn’t great
Cable didn’t work during our stay
Fridge in room was dented and moved when opened
Overall because of amenities for my kids and cleanliness and I would definitely stay again. Would bring my own pool towels. The restaurant was well priced and very good!
Hotel needs better towels for pool and a pool heater.
Hotel needs upgraded mattresses and better room lighting.

The Lex was a one time stay for us.
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HotelsIt looked like the sliding glass door had leaked as the carpet was wet by the door. The soap was very small and had a strange texture. The shower only had half a door so the bathroom floor got very wet. Also, the volume on the tv sounded like it was in a tin can. However, the bed was very very comfortable. The breakfast had no fresh fruit and no pastries. The waffles were good. I think the hotel is trying to become upscale but they have a way to go.
