We will definitely stay at the Montgomery Inn B&B again. If you’re looking for a charming, idyllic, relaxing, small-town b&b, look no further. We found the owner, Pam, to be just as charming as her property. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and all of our needs were met. Breakfast was always delicious and I looked forward to it every morning. Although we didn’t need it, I overheard that she’ll go out of her way to accommodate dietary restrictions. I was a little worried when I met Sadie, Pam’s 3-year-old golden doodle, because I wondered if there would be dog hair and a dog smell but there wasn’t. Sadie is well trained, clean, and hypoallergenic if anyone is worried. We had a lot of fun with her. We stayed in the sleeper car room which was surprisingly quiet even though it was right next to the dining room. I can’t wait to go back and stay in some of the other rooms!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Montgomery Inn BnB, thanks to the unmatched hospitality and care provided by owner. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home, offering not only a warm and welcoming atmosphere but also invaluable guidance on local attractions and experiences. The inn itself is charming and well-maintained, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Her personal touch made our stay unforgettable, and we truly appreciated her attention to making our experience perfect. We can’t recommend Montgomery Inn BnB highly enough – it was truly a 5-star experience!

Pam runs a first class operation! Our room was comfortable and well stocked with towels, blankets and even robes. The property is located close to distilleries and shopping areas. We were made to feel like family. Can’t wait to go back

Beautiful old home that has been turned into a long running B&B. Our rooms (English suite) were spacious with lots of room to spread out. The bathroom was huge and well lit and also had space for each of us to have our own sink. Loved the off street parking. The host was friendly supplying us with both excellent breakfasts and good conversation. When we are in the Lexington area, we will certainly keep this B&B in mind!

This place is very dirty and ancient, not quant. Immediately you're hit in the face with several smells, some diffuser trying to overpower the bad smells. The inn keeper slept on the couch every time we walked in which was weird. The dog was cute. The minute we got into our room I smelled pee. My husband smelled cat litter but I think it was a combo of the pee and other gross scents mixed with their diffuser. I sniffed and found a pee scent on the bed, going through each layer of the sheets, smelling it but not seeing a stain. I told the inn keeper and she didn't believe me. She came up and said she didn't smell it. When I persisted, she went to the mattress layer and found a massive pee stain. Apparently an elderly couple who wore diapers stayed in there last. Since there were no extra rooms she suggested we took a mattress from a different room: but how if it was all full? Anyway she had me and my husband carry the pee mattress out and the new one in. Even after the change it still smelled so bad in the room. It was so dirty and I just felt disgusting sleeping here. They didn't even have hand soap, she said to use the face wash. Also, our door knob barely worked it was about to fall off. I poured myself wine in the room but the glasses were so musty smelling I could not enjoy the wine. Could not have left fast enough

We got new mattresses in March, so I was surprised and quite disappointed to discover it had been ruined. The room we took the new mattress and bedding from had two beds with a single gal staying in it. I was alone and couldn't move the mattresses by myself, and due to the Railheads festival I knew it would be difficult to find you an alternate place to stay. Within a half hour it seemed we had solved the dilemma and you were off to enjoy your rainy music festival. The smell was a broken bottle of peppermint essential oil. We weren't using the diffusers, it would be no use with the permiating mint. It's not that I didn't believe you, but after cleaning up the ground zero peppermint spill, I could smell nothing else. As I mentioned before, the room we took the mattress from was occupied, and I tried to stay awake waiting to explain to her why I had entered her room and taken the other bed apart when she returnedfrom the festival . As for our glassware, it goes through an extra sanitizer cycle after the normal wash and we use Cascade pods. They are heat dried. Our laundry uses an ozonator like hospitals do, and my staff cleans with Odoban which kills 99% of viruses, bacteria, spores and the like. Since I had to purchase another mattress for the room I decided to get a new king bed, rug, and seating. I didn't want to risk the incontinent guest leaked on anything else in the room. As for the hand soap, we bottle from gallons and there weren't enough hand soap labels so we used the facesoap labels. If you had talked with me again I could have let you leave, but I feel like I did all I could to correct the situation and you stayed for 2 nights. I thought you were satisfied at the time. We had many happy guests already planning to return, I hate that you felt so bad and didn't let on. With a full house as we had I was fielding phone calls at 1:30 a.m. from people needing a place to stay to no avail, caring for guests' special needs and requests, the rainy start for the festival had us handing out ponchos, cleaning up wet floors, and all that goes with the weather. Still the consensus seemed to be a positive experience. This bed and breakfast has been in operation since 1988, the Victorian house was built in 1911. I'm constantly upgrading and renewing to keep it fresh. Your yelp post called it a 4 star hotel, we are a bed and breakfast in a 100 plus yr old house. I think booking through expedia, that isn't always as evident. Yes, I have a goldendoodle. No, I don't have a cat. I'm sorry your stay was not a great one. We work long hours to make sure it is. The mint smell is still with us, but it is dissipating. I look forward to being able to return to our signature scent, "My Way". A closing thought, even when you're using a 3rd party booking site it is prudent to go to the property website to get as much information as possible in making your choice. And regardless of where you stay, keep the dialog flowing--we would much rat

The Innkeeper was excellent with clients and prepared the very best breakfast every day! We will stay in the Cottage next time. We did enjoy the house and of course Sadie!
