Spacious and convenient location.

The listing and other reviews talk about the train so I can't blame anyone but myself. The train comes through several times a night, every night and due to the close proximity to the railroad trussles it lays on the horn. It will wake you up unless you are a very sound sleeper. Communication with property owner was great and he is very prompt to respond. We had a little miss communicating in the beginning but that was quickly settled. Even though the rules are no smoking the entire place smelled of marijuana. Property owner did what he could to correct this as well but very little he could do. I would advise him to seek compensation from previous tenants. Overall it's a nice place especially for a larger group as it has 3 bedrooms and a large living space.

The host was very attentive to any and all needs we had while staying in the home. It was lovely, very clean and stocked well. I definitely recommend this home for your stay in Lexington! 😊

Problems Galire

1. Smoke alarm beeping 2. Shower knob broken. We had to remove and use a pliers to change temperature. 3. No mention in listing that property is directly adjacent to railroad with trains going all day and night, horns blaring. 4. Property manager promised refund of $50 due to problems and arbitrarily reduced to $35 with no notice.

Mr. Jay Like I had talked with you about this situation if I knew the previous guest broken the shower nob, “or who knows if it was y’all that striped the shower nob turning it too hard” i would’ve fix prior to your visit!. I wouldn’t let a shower nob be the problem to this dilemma, the house is newly renovated it wouldn’t be no problem to fix a shower nob as I did morning of your departure!. This guest stayed one night also mentioned this problem 10pm, I told them I’m on my way ill be there in about 30mins to fix a shower nob takes only a screw to loosen and tighten 3mins I’ll be in and out!!. Mr jay said “no we took the nob off and used pliers to turn from hot to cold!,””was able to shower still”” Mr jay said its too late at night to do maintenance! He said we will be ok just want a refund, he said a full refund!. I understand this is a inconvenience but you was able to shower!. i understand a partial refund would be ok “but mr jay your asking for a full refund” I had asked are you going to find a different home to stay at for your visit ? He said no I want a refund and stay this night at you house I believe this is inconvenient and I deserve a refund!!: I apologize and made the points of you still have a beautiful home to stay in with central Air n heating, you was able to shower, and able to proceed with everything you needed to do!. I told him I was on my way and you didn’t want me to go now your asking for a refund I can’t do that I can give you 35$ for the inconvenience and had explained all this what I just explained on this review dashboard!. I didn’t get no reply back it was left at that. Now the smoke detector goes out of battery ever so often the only indicator of a low battery is the beeping! The train is mentioned on the house description!. I believe you over looked that As well mr jay wanted to say on my information I had a pull out couch that turns to a bed!!. I’m sorry I’ve been hosting for a year now and I haven’t had minor problem become major problem!. I believe I handle this issue to the best of my ability knowning im a business!. I ask for any further guest don’t let this reasons be the reason you don’t Visit our comfy home!: you can see all other reviews are great and I’m alway responsive!. This is my business and In here for y’all!. Feels bad to know this type of issue can hurt my ratings, and Mr. jay even tho I don’t believe I deserve a bad review like this, “i did my best to accommodate to the situation” I want to tell you thank you for staying with us apologizes for the bad experience at our home I really hope this never happened to anybody!.
