Van der Valk upgraded my standard room on day one without asking only to downgrade me and switch my rooms for day two after I came to complain about my room key not working because “I didn’t pay for an executive room for the second day”. This experience completely ruined my mood and the staff missed out on an opportunity to address my complaint in an adequate manner.

No shower gel in the bathroom. No water supplied (other than tap water). Room too warm. No AC.

Comfortable and clean room - we had a treble room which is basically a suite with whirlpool bath & kitchenette. Plenty of space in the room. As with most hotels wardrobe & storage space is limited for longer stays. We were there for a week. The restaurant and bar staff were exceptional even when the bar area was crowded. Reception staff were also helpful & quickly resolved a slight issue checking out. A nice location next to the river and park near by. Surprised to see rabbits roaming around the grounds. I would stay again.

Good hotel in Liege

Good quality hotel. Room very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast plentiful. Restaurant food good although not the cheapest. Parking convenient on site (payable)

Decent comfortable spa stay

Excellent hotel, good rooms. Only weird thing is had to ask them to turn off loud corridor music which they quickly did. Spa was great except hot tub was cold. Sauna in good working order
