Wunderschöne Poolanlage mit heißen Spa-Pools und Wasserfällen, sehr gutes Restaurant (Huli-Huli Chicken, Steak …..), Nähe zu Lihue mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Walmart…

Good Accommodation.

But, (1) lot of illegal parking along the Resort entrance to avoid Parking Fees (I paid USD $35.00 ++/ per night), (2) the Bedding/ pillows need some improvements (3) as conditions of stay, we have to carry all rubbish (in clear plastics bag) to the Compactor at the back of resort (at least 100 meters away with walking pass the Reception/ Front foyers of Resort/ many onlookers).

There for a family wedding
Publié le 5 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayOverall very happy with KBR. Lived on Kauai for 10 years prior to visiting the island for a wedding. First time staying on property. Pleasantly pleased. The room is not appointed with the same quality as the hotel rooms where other friends and family members stayed but still ok. The housekeeping does not do the best job. Missed replacing tissues despite specifically asking and my bed was missing the top sheet when I checked in. The owner is very responsive though and very accommodating. The hotel was in the process of being taken over by Outrigger Hotels which I trust will be a good thing in the long run but short run had a couple of hiccups. The location of the room is nice. Very close to the pool and not far from the lobby as well.

Worst bed I have ever slept on in my entire life
Publié le 29 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThe mattresses in this otherwise lovely room are truly awful. They are cheap box spring affairs. If your partner moves, you move. If your partner moves, you also hear the springs loudly adjusting. The mattresses are rock hard. Honestly, I’ve never stayed in a Motel 6 - but I bet they have more comfortable beds. Aside from the truly horrible, uncomfortable, rock-hard, miserable beds - this place is very nice. The room was clean. The resort is lovely and the room is very conveniently located near the pools. If the owner would invest a little money in more comfortable beds, I would happily recommend it to others.
