They have a hotel kitty that hangs out on the property and he’s so sweet. Rini at the front desk was amazing and so sweet, she made it all so much nicer with how welcoming and kind she was
They have a kitty that hangs out at the hotel and he is so sweet. Rini at the front desk was phenomenal during both of our stays. So nice and welcoming.
Check in the young man was nice and courtesy. He was very helpful during our stay-from getting ice to exchanging towels.
Cute touch to have ear plugs for the guests. Though the chickens and roosters did not bother us. It was great to see them all over!
The place itself is very rundown and worn out. When we first pulled up it was kind of creepy and I was very disappointed.
It could use a fresh coat of paint and definite update to electrical services. Having signs posted ‘don’t use the hairdryer while running the a/c could pop a breaker and your room could be without power’ is not the most comfortable feeling concerning the upkeep of the facility.
Thoroughly my fault-I thought the room I reserved was one that had a kitchenette—‘microwave/fridge and dishes’ nope.
Luckily they did have one in the lobby, though again ‘don’t use the microwave when the coffee maker is in use’ sign signifies a drastic upgrade is needed.
Location is in an older part of Lihue. Little sketchy but convenient and centrally to where we wanted to be.
This is a two-story motel from the '70s. The cover photo makes it seem like it would be a decent condo type of stay, what I arrived to was a tiny shoe box with bathroom and shower so small it felt like it converted closet. The closet itself was big enough to house a broom and maybe a mini vacuum. Definitely not enough room around the bed to do stretches or yoga. Several amenities listed on our room type we're not even provided.
It was very reasonable and we have to give a thumbs up 👍 to the owners and the 👍 staff for this nice little gem!!! We enjoyed our visit and we will be back. Thank you
Stayed with family. It’s a good way to save money if you are just looking for a place to lay your head and spend most of your day out adventuring. Staff were nice. Place was clean.
It was a close to the airport and cheaper than most places and has everything you need! Felt clean. Had a lovely stay. We even left something and they made sure we got it back!

The clerk checked me in very quickly and then personally walked me out to show me where to park … and how to get there (an alley and one way streets are involved). Real Aloha spirit!
Such a quaint property. We have stayed before and they continue to enhance. This time additional plants in the garden. Just beautiful. Rooms are smaller, but space is utilized very well.
For the price you pay this is a STEAL. The staff was super nice and helpful, really made us feel welcomed.
They have boogie board, chairs and even sunscreen available to use. They have a huge area where you can get some coffee and ice. everything is complimentary. The kitchenet had everything you needed. The bedding was clean, and bed was super comfy. The only con we noticed was blood on the fridge and kitchen sink/area. Nothing crazy though since I work in the medical field it didn't make me turned off. LOL....I would stay here again and recommend to anyone staying. You also can't skip out on the Kauia Diner walking distance from the hotel. They have the best MOCO LOCO!!
Absolutely loved staying here! I was here for 4 nights mostly to sleep. During the day I was out hiking around the island. Location is perfect because it's about halfway point on the island. Bed was comfy, it all felt private and safe, the staff was SO friendly and it was spotlessly clean. Parking was also easy. This is probably one of the best value stays on the island. I was expecting a rundown motel vibe but it's the opposite. It felt renovated, clean and with modern touches. If you're looking for a place to rest while you explore the beauty of this island rather than sit at a pool all day then stay here!!
