Great find

It was great. Good price, friendly owners / staff. The bed is a touch on the firm side. The place was safe, clean, and accommodating, and 💯 worth the cost / convenience.

This was a nice and secure hotel. The staff are very nice. The area around the property was really dirty. Over all it was a nice experience!

The hostel was close to the local Real Plaza and restaurants (20 mins walking distance). The worst was it's too close to a neighbor who liked karaoke sang songs loud until 2~3am in the morning and the beds were too old. Also it's not closed to Plaza de Armes (30 mins walking) but the posting's location said it's within 10 mins walking distance.

Hello Amanda. Thank you for your comments. However, please take note that Expedia´s system shows you the distance from the hostal to every touristic point of the city. Estimations are provided by this system, not by us. Thus, it is somehow unfair to blame it on us. Further, these estimations of walking distance are correct for the great mayority of people, as we are two blocks away from restaurants, and four blocks from real plaza and the begining of the historic center of Lima. Room is simple and not impressive. Everything for the price is good, especially in Lima. Very loud in the morning when school begins as well as during the night when there are loud parties, sometimes at the nearby church. All to be expected in Lima however. Not the best area but I didn’t feel unsafe.

Hello Maria, Thank you for your comments. We provide basic accomodations in a safe, clean and friendly atmosphere. We are located in the surroundings of the historical center of Lima. We haven been operating over 20 years and there has never been an incident with a tourist in the visinity of our hostal. We are located very close to major police buildings and official institutions as the Migration Office, thus it is a safe area. We would have like to know about your complaints about the city´s noise in order to help you by providing you a room at the back of the hostal. We were glad to receive you for three days. Clean and great service

The accomodations are kept very clean and the staff are extremely helpful--especially Andres and Oscar. I highly recommend!

yo ya había pagado en expedia y ahí cuando llegué me cobraban nuevamente, entonces les dije que me cancelaran la reservación, mandé un mensaje a expedia y nunca me contestaron.para anular la reservación ya que no me quedé ahí y en mi tarjeta me siguen cobrando

Buen día Jesús. Siempre agradecemos los comentarios de nuestros huéspedes, sin embargo, no podemos avalar comentarios que no corresponden a la realidad. Usted tenía el check in para el día 31/10. Sin embargo, llegó al hotel el 1/11 en la tarde diciendo que iba a viajar esa tarde y que necesitaba que le devuelvan el dinero del prepago de la reserva. Entonces, es falso que se le haya cobrado nuevamente y que por eso Usted haya decidido retirarse. Usted no tomó la habitación porque iba a viajar y se acercó al hotel a pedir una devolución del dinero. En ese sentido, se le explicó que debía contactarse con EXPEDIA para poder realizar cualquier gestión sobre la devolución del dinero del prepago realizado a esa empresa. Ese es el conducto normal, aún más cuando a la fecha no habíamos cobrado un solo dolar nosotros. Lamentablemente, Usted no tomó a bien la respuesta y se retiró. Luego de eso, Usted comenta que EXPEDIA no le ha respondido el correo enviado. En ese sentido, eso escapa a lo que nosotros como hostal podemos manejar, ni somos responsables del sistema de atención al cliente de EXPEDIA. Por eso, es bastante injusto que nos ponga la calificación 1/5, cuando Usted no tomó la habitación, nadie le cobró extra, y no somos responsables de la rapidez con la que Expedia contesta los correos electrónicos. Claramente, nos vemos afectados por una molestia que no hemos generado, por lo que le invitamos revaluar su calificación, ya que este debe justo y apropiado, basado en el servicio recibido y no con las molestias que tenga con otra empresa. Gracias y saludos desde Lima!
