Beautiful place with wonderful human beings as hosts. They make you feel as if you were part of their family. Lots of laughing with them under their gazebo. Very clean and quiet. Bravo à Annette et Al pour l'accueil chaleureux qu'ils ont envers leurs invités. Je remercie la vie de les avoir mis sur notre route. En espérant avoir le bonheur de les revoir un jour.❤️

Amazing place beautiful inside and out . Al and Annette make everyone feel like family. Quite and relaxing and Ginger the dog is just the sweetest. Can't wait to visit again.

Very nice BnB, quiet and restful with a pretty well maintained yard with pond. Easy driving access to Bancroft for evening dining options. The breakfast blueberry pancakes and ginger rhubarb jam were both excellent.

This property and the owners are absolute gems. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating when we were running late for check in and still gave us a lovely tour so that we could settle in comfortably. The rooms are beautifully laid out and filled with thoughtful touches.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious! If you are lucky enough to get to try Al's blueberry pancakes count your blessing because they are fantastic.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

A tranquil retreat in the forest

I really enjoyed looking out from the room to the beautiful garden full of wildflowers. The property itself is an absolute work of art - the house itself has a unique and noteworthy architecture and construction that was fascinating to learn about. I loved looking out from the wrap-around deck to the peaceful forest pond below and walking around the grounds, enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. I only wish it had been a clear night to see the stars! I was offered a choice of breakfast entrees, and chose an asparagus omelet, which was perfectly prepared by Al. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to return the next time I'm in the area. What a gem of a property and Annette and Al are wonderful hosts.

We were looking at properties in the area and needed a place to stay overnight. Annette and Al were wonderful hosts and gave us the skinny on places to eat and nearby attractions. Not to mention that their property was gorgeous and a real treat to wake up in and go for a meander around the pond with a coffee.
