Great service and location!
Great location in Limerick! Our room was almost ready when we got there, very tired from an overseas flight. We only had to wait 20 minutes or so to check in. Lovely staff as well!

We had a great stay here—wonderful restaurant, attentive staff. Did the birthday package and also had their morning room service and it was all fantastic! Great area near a lot of shops and pubs. Would recommend to someone visiting Limerick.

Staff and service were excellent. Our stay was during the holiday season so it was noisy into the night. There are a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Close to St Mary’s Cathedral, King John’s Castle and two very nice museums all within walking distance

Beautiful hotel. Sadly I had an issue sleeping as the hotel is located on a busy street. Window soundproofing could be better so won’t use the hotel again for business. I would use the hotel again for a personal stay when a lie in is an option!

Well maintained fully attentive Hotel.
Yes, of all the hotels I have stayed in recently the George Hotel Limerick definitely is up there with the best. All the small details like the chocolates waiting on us upon arrival to basic things like sewing kits etc etc... Got the nod of approval from my wife which is always good. We stayed in a triple room a double and a single for my daughter. The only thing i woukd say would be the double was a tad small for us as we are used to having king size beds but was fine.

If arriving by car there isn’t really a loading zone so you basically park in middle of traffic to drop your bags and drive a few streets away to park at a parkade. We had a king room and it was huge. Lots of space, bathrooms were clean and had amenities you need. Breakfast was nice, typical for all those where breakfast was included. It was very close to the river so lovely area. For dinner options, we got in late so didn’t look far. We ended up at Hunters pub which was not very good at all.

I advised the hotel when I made the booking that i have a scent allergy, and asked if that would be a problem. I received no response, so I figured it would be okay. If they told me that they use strong perfume in the lobby and corridors, I would have stayed elsewhere. A scent allergy is a medical condition that can give me migraine headaches. The hotel ignored my enquiry, making me pretty miserable. I was able to keep the scent out of my room by stuffing toilet paper around the door. Otherwise, the hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly.
