Big Ocean views & covered hot tub on a quiet road overlooking the vast Pacific Ocean. Still in town with a very private feel. There are 3 Queen Beds and 4 twin beds. Lower level with big ocean views has fully stocked kitchen and opens to private patio with hot tub, picnic table, porch swing & yard with new firepit. All overlooking the ocean! Living room has huge picture windows, floor to ceiling river rock fireplace, open beams , vaulted ceiling & Big Screen Tv with hardwood floors throughout. Great spot for surf & sand views, sunsets or Whale watching. There is an additional wrap around upper deck . Perfect for lounging on wooden Adirondack chairs while watching the surf roll in. Completely furnished with linens and towels. We work extra hard to sanitize every surface and provide con-tactless check in.

Disappointing
We wanted to like this rental, but were disappointed. We stayed from Sept 2 to the 5th, 2024. First thing we noticed upon opening the door was the musty smell, even the bedding. We opened all the windows and washed the sheets for the beds we used. Washer/dryer are noisy/squeaky. The entire house needs updating. Showers are small, and the water pressure is low. I was looking forward to close/easy beach access. It's a bit of a walk downhill, and back up (I'm 70). There was construction (known by host) which closed the access, requiring we hike up the hill, through a backyard path, and three blocks down. A few hours after we arrived the security hub/Simli Safe located in the living room began an alert every few minutes. The host said she'd send someone, but after an hour and a half of waiting we removed the batteries (bring tools in future). Ugh! Now for the positive; good supply of towels and kitchenware, back patio was nice, and the hot tub was clean. The host sounded nice, but we didn't actually see her. We won't be staying here again.

My Happy Place
The views were amazing. Morning coffee was enjoyed in the comfy living room with an awesome view and also on the patio and wrap around deck throughout the day. House was nicely stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. Home is older but unique. I would suggest that you check the thresh hold strips going into the bathrooms. The screws/nails snagged a few socks. I would remind the cleaners to clean under the cabinets in living room. Several items and dust bunnies were noticed. Over all our family had a wonderful stay.

Great spot for watching the waves
The Porthole is an awesome spot! A little tricky getting in and out of the driveway, but managed ok. With the number of beds, we were able to accommodate the 7 of us comfortably. An upstairs shower would have been nice, but we’re able to use the tub for baths and showers downstairs. Kitchen was well stocked and the view from the kitchen table was amazing. We took advantage of the nice weather, had a fire and made s’mores. It was a fun filled 4 days!

Great stay at Lincoln City
We really enjoyed our stay here at this house - great ocean view, and we loved the hot tub and fire pit. Taking one star off because the house was not ready until 5:00, and we were not able to check in when we were promised. Also, it was clear that the housekeeper, who was cleaning when we got there, missed some spots - there was a lot of hair left in the sink and the toilet wasn’t cleaned in one of the bathrooms. But we understood that there were messy guests before us and knew that it takes a lot of time to clean a big house so it wasn’t a big deal at all. Overall I recommend this property and would definitely stay there again!

Amazing view from the living room and the kitchen. The swing, firepit, and hot tub are nice touches. We had a hard time finding the house in the beginning but reread the directions and found it after 15 mins. The house was clean, nice location but it was a lot smaller than expected especially the kitchen but the view make up for it. The host was nice, Ice in the freezer, hot tub was ready for us and a cooler was prepared for us outside.

Simple and good
This isnt a fancy place. But its comfy and homey. We brought our adult kids for the twin beds and our 80 yr old parents. The pictures didnt show that the kitchen is downstairs. The kitchen is adequate and well stocked. The stairs are questionable for little kids and older folks. The best thing about this house is the porch and the chairs to watch the ocean. Some things that need fixing include the water pressure in the downstairs shower, and all the queen mattresses. They are all squishy. The kitchen is very small, so i wouldnt consider this an entertaining space. We brought most of our eating outside or in the living room. Vrbo needs to change the address on the site. Its the wrong address. Please know, the parking is quite tricky. If you have a large vehicle, you have to pass the house and turn around in the cul-de-sac. Everything about the rental agency was smooth and good communication.

Incredible views with some caveats…
Views are amazing….upstairs very comfortable and the outdoor area was great. We found the downstairs to be a bit musty especially in the full bathroom. The cleanliness of the full bathroom was not conducive to the rest of the house. This bathroom needed some extra cleaning. Shower pressure was pretty awful as well. The towels also had a funky odor. We had a two year old with us so the stairs were a bit of an issue for us.

Overall nice place to stay
We had a fun relaxing stay. The proximity to the beach is awesome, the hot tub a nice way to relax and warm up after spending the day in the typical Oregon coast weather. The only complaint we had was that the only working shower was in the laundry room. All in all a very nice place for a getaway.

Nice older home (built in the 1940s). Got to meet the managers/property owners who came quickly to fix a tv hdmi issue. We struggled to find the house using google maps and Mapquest, So I would suggest googling Ester Lee motel and going from there. Pros: wonderful views Privacy 3 min walk to the beach Hottub Beds were descent Great back porch Kitchen well stocked Wifi Gym is 5 minutes away Cons: Cold downstairs vs Warm upstairs (older home temp issues) Furnace system for heat was pretty loud but we have noise makers, so wasn’t a big deal for us Somewhat Dirty by nights stands and behind beds (particularly in room adjacent to downstairs bathroom)

Unique house, great view of ocean.
The house is very unique in the way that the layout is. Quiet neighborhood. The driveway is small and a little difficult to park a full size truck. The views are amazing, especially from the hot tub. The downsides where the rules posted on everything. Our biggest issue was being woken up in the middle of the night from blaring sirens and spending several minutes trying to figure out where it was coming from. We put a couple wet towels on top of the washing machine and water slowly dripped onto the floor which triggered a leak sensor. It was god awfully loud and thought it was a tsunami siren at first. It ruined one of our nights there. Called the property manager super early and they were quick to respond. Other than that, we would stay there again.

The living room is very nice and cozy comfy and the view is gorgeous. There are plenty of beds but a couple of them have squeaky mattresses. The furnace is really noisy at night in two of the bedrooms. The bathrooms are very old and the last remodel was a decade or two ago. The downstairs has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and the kitchen. The kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. It needs a remodel. The entire downstairs is very cold.

Wow! Such a perfect location!!
We are cousins who like to meet up once a year or so. This year’s adventure was the Oregon Coast-so this location was ideal! We did activities both north and south and had cold rainy days where we just curled up to read and watch the angry sea. We utilized the hot tub, the outdoor fire and deck chairs. We cooked a lot and found everything we could need in the kitchen. I don’t know what could have made this trip any better! Given the opportunity, I would absolutely stay here again!!

Family trip to the coast
I have never seen a property with a view as amazing as this. It had lots of sleeping options for everyone. We had two girls that were ages 1 & 3 and we had to come up with some interesting ways to block the stairs. We had 2 people fall in the downstairs bedroom and the end of the hall. There was even a warning sign, but it still happened. I wouldn't recommend it for families with little ones, but for everyone else it was amazing. Thank you!
