Broken Shower, Inadequate Compensation

We went out and got back rather late, so we all went to sleep planning to shower and get back on the road or off to work early the next morning. When we got up in the morning, one of us tried to take a shower, and upon lifting the handle to start the shower, the faucet flew off the wall and water sprayed everywhere! Thankfully no one was hurt. None of us were able to shower and had to head out within the hour. We showed video to the front desk, who said engineering would go up right away. At that point it was too late to help us, and I was disappointed that the best they could do was comp the parking.
