Mediocre at best
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HotelsThey were friendly people. Very nice. I was a little frustrated that they couldn't get my electronic key to work. I went through 3 of them. My room was all the way at the other end of the motel. It was a long walk to the front desk and got pretty old. The worse part of staying there was the smell. There was an enormous odor of curry and it slapped you across the face when you entered the back section of the motel. It was not pleasant at all. My room didn't smell of curry but everywhere outside it did. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. The bed was comfortable and that's really all I needed.

To begin, this hotel is directly across from the Nebraska State Penitentiary. Not even joking. Secondly, it was probably built in the 1970s and has barely been updated since then. There is a musty and dirty smell and the carpets were relatively dirty as well. We didn’t get to our room because our keys wouldn’t work, but based upon some of the other rather interesting people staying there, we decided we were going to stay elsewhere.

Only a couple issues: the carpet was wet outside our bathroom door. the room was very humid and the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work. it made noise like it was working but no moisture was taken out while showering.

When we were on our way home we both started noticing bug bites....and now are possitive it is bed bugs. Very unhappy with our stay after giving the hotel placement the benefit of doubt.

Food poison & double charged
Publié le 10 sept. 2024 sur HotelsFront desk made me wait 10 minutes to check in even though I was only customer. Said waiting for another customer to return from bathroom.
Continental breakfast poisoned me with just 2 bites. Neither eggs nor sausage was fully cooked and cold. Threw slab of processed slab of processed egg into steam table which was cold to touch.
Charged me twice for room and pet fee. Said they would refund second charge but haven’t done so yet. Charge was done yesterday.
We’ve stayed here several times over the years but operation has tanked. Never again.

The hotel was in a kind of sketchy area - across from a prison and next to a bar. The lock on the side door of the hotel was broken so anyone could open it - management please fix this asap as it made us feel unsafe. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfy though and the breakfast was decent.
