Publié le 3 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was charming, with everything we needed, and we enjoyed the views and the firepit!, plenty of firewood provided by host! Bedroom is actually an open loft upstairs which was fine for us, full size washer/dryer was a plus. Enjoyed our stay😍

Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location just outside of town. Property owner is super easy to contact and very kind. Very clean and calming place to stay. Nice back deck and picnic table by the river with plenty of room to roam in a wall kept lot.
As other reviews have mentioned, I can see the issue if you have trouble with steep stairs to the bedroom, but the design of a cabin is no reason to knock down a rating, If you need handicap accessible, look for something that says it’s handicap accessible.

Publié le 11 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin is very clean and the host was wonderful. It is right on the river so we could pull up to the cabin instead of taking the boat out all the time. The grounds are well maintained and they had plenty of firewood and we had a nice fire at night. It is a great place to relax even if it rains they have a nice porch with padded couch and chairs. This is the second year we have been there and there will be more.

Great spot on river
Publié le 27 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was clean and well-stocked. Everything worked well, including the a/c, laundry and grill. The front porch was wonderful- even during the rain. It was so peaceful, despite a little road noise (which was not a surprise). The stairs were a bit steep up to the bedroom, and the water had a sulfur smell. We used bottled water for drinking. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Clean & Convenient place to stay

It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use.
