Splendid spot
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur stay was perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing. Plenty of space as far as bedrooms and bathrooms go. So much common space to enjoy a fire, meals, and outdoor space. The beach is very wide during low tide and an added perk. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. We can’t wait to plan a return trip.

Wonderful time
Publié le 10 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I, our three adult children and their spouses, and our grandchildren had a great time at the Lost Tides house relaxing, sightseeing, and eating at the restaurants around the area. The spacious house easily accommodated us and all our activities, and the view of Penobscot Bay outside the expanse of windows was gorgeous. Suzanne, the owner, was a gracious host. We hope to stay again.

Plenty of room inside. Perfect for our family of 9, ranging in age, 68yrs to 83 years old. Big kitchen, plenty of seating and a assortment of rooms.

Amazing Maine Family Vacation
Publié le 26 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThere were nine of us, plenty of room to spread out. All the adult couples had king size beds and there were plenty of bathrooms. The house was well stocked allowing us to have a great breakfast before heading out for the day. We had some phenomenal evening meals, relaxed, played games and enjoyed each others company. Great place to stay … the views and sea glass excursions could not be beat. Our grandson even tried his hand at fishing, but no luck. We enjoyed Acadia, Boothbay, Camden, Belfast and Bar Harbor. Would love to come back … and maybe someday we will.

A great kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms. A wonderful playroom with TV and game table. Ping-pong and foosball. A fire pit. And a short walk to some steps down to the beach. Just 15 minutes to Belfast, which is a wonderful seaside community with great restaurants and shops. There’s a nine hole golf course literally right around the corner from the property.

Publié le 30 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed over Memorial Day Weekend while in the area for my daughter’s college graduation. The house and property was exactly as represented in the online description. It’s a really peaceful place with great energy.
The host was great. Communication was good and she responded quickly when we had a question. The property would be a great place for a large family get together. Tons of space!
We would definitely rent here again.

It's not a house, it's a home!
Publié le 10 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayRarely do you find places that are better in person than in the pictures. This is one of those places. This isn't some vacation rental business. This is a real lived-in and loved home with everything you need. Except one thing and maybe I just couldn't find them - where are the lobster crackers?! This is the only miss I can think of (arguably a considerable one for a Maine home!)
