Good location and great service

This hotel is ideally located in the heart of Lisbon, making it a fantastic base for exploring the city’s major attractions, all within walking distance. It’s also right behind a shopping strip filled with luxury brands but tucked away on a quieter street for a peaceful stay. During our first visit, the room was on the smaller side but clean and well-equipped with good lighting, hot water, and central air conditioning. On our second stay, we upgraded to a suite, which was spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. It featured four French doors offering stunning views of the city and the castle. The thoughtful details in the suite, like a Dyson hair dryer and a Marshall speaker, added a luxurious touch. The hotel staff were exceptional, especially Ines at the front desk, who was incredibly friendly, informative, and made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was also a highlight, offering plenty of options to start the day. Overall, a great hotel for a comfortable and memorable stay in Lisbon. Highly recommend!

The hotel was unique and quaint. We loved the decor! It was a wonderful stay with great breakfast and a 7 course meal on New Year’s. Be prepared with good walking shoes to trek the streets. Highly recommend.

Simply Lovely

Fantastic hotel in a perfect location that punches very far above its 3 star rating. Just steps from Lisbon’s main avenue, easy walking distance to the main sites, yet situated on a beautiful, quiet square that insulates it from the city’s energy. With rooms much larger than is the European norm, and beautiful public spaces, it is hard to imagine a Lisbon hotel that comes even close to matching the Algeria’s value. We travel to Europe often and this is one of if not our favorite hotel.

This hotel made our great stay in Lisbon memorable

Lovely stay in this historical building that had been updated, but kept the historical integrity of the building. Great restaurant where we enjoyed breakfast each day, and dinner one evening as well. Very friendly staff who were happy to tell us the history of the building and the neighborhood.

This is a lovely hotel. Our room was beautiful with doors that opened out to the front of the building. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel restaurant was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.
