My husband and I stayed 4 nights in the city view room. Exceptionally clean, functional room, great views to Jorge’s Castle. Linen was clean and fresh and housekeeping was good. My only feedback on the room itself was that the bathroom didn’t offer very much privacy. The location worked really well for us we were able to walk to most sights/shopping/food. We loved staying in the old part of town and didn’t feel unsafe at night when going out to eat. The hotel itself was a brand new and is a little sanctuary in the old part of town. Staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and nice. Very efficient as well. We would recommend staying at this property as well as stay again ourselves.

A great option in Lisbon. The area was maybe a bit edgy but it wasn't a big issue. The rooms were good, clean and comfy beds and breakfast was good too!

Lovely friendly hotel but although in historic centre with view of the castle, it was in a very run down area with drug deals openly occurring at night close to the hotel. No safe in hotel room which did make us a little nervous considering the area. Room very compact and lacked any hanging space.

The hotel was very nice, the staff was polite and pleasant. The neighborhood allowed for great views of the palace and castle The neighborhood is one of the oldest in the town — the immediate area around the hotel was clean but within 100 feet the environment was dirty, trashy and unappealing. Again you need to be aware of this so you can manage your expectations— other than that it was a wonderful stay

It was great place to stay hotel wise Location no Was not in an area I would choose to stay in Taxis Uber didn’t want to go there and couldn’t get to the door. We had to be dropped off at the corner and walk up the hill cobble stone hill/road.

Clean and tidy with excellent breakfast

Very well presented, friendly welcome and nice clean room with a view of the castle. Although it was a bit of a walk to the centre, we were glad to be staying here so we could also experience this part of Lisbon. The room was clean, nice hot shower and an excellent breakfast. The receptionist happily booked us a taxi back to Lisbon Oriente station and there's a nice little lobby to wait in.

Really nice hotel with good breakfast in a not-so-great part of town. Front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were excellent. Great service, communication, and friendly personalities. The room was clean and spacious. Made my 3 nights there feel like a wonderful retreat from the busyness of the surrounding area. The only downside is the location, but as a man it is an easy trade off for the quality of the hotel at this price point. The hotel requires a short uphill trek, the cobblestone streets around are narrow and winding, and it in a part of town with predominantly populated by South Asian and African immigrants.

Hotel is accessed on a side street. Easy to reach local areas by foot. Buffet Breakfast, plentiful, always replenishing. Rooms lovely, clean and comfortable. Trams, buses and Metro easy to use if you want to visit places further afield. Will definately stay here again
