Lovely house

It was a good location, not far from playgrounds, shops, amazing lookouts and other interesting landmarks (glow worm tunnel a must-see!).

Perfect family weekend getaway

The property is super clean and has everything you need. I didn’t realised we also had an outdoor area with table and chairs which was perfect before dinner to relax.
The bathroom/ laundry would need to be renovated but it doesn’t affect the property.

Publié le 7 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautifully presented and clean property. Bathroom aged but functional, loo needs buttons checked (hard to flush). Great to have washer/dryer, and basics in the cupboard (ie instant coffee, teabags). Property was easy to access, proximity close to everything.

Gorgeous, spacious and perfectly located for our daily bushwalks.
Publié le 5 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat can I say, the cottage is just gorgeous. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed with beautiful roses on the porch. As you walk in, the scent of vanilla gives you the feeling you are walking into a 5-star hotel. But, it doesn’t stop there. Beautiful flowers scattered across the house, spacious bedrooms, tastefully decorated living room and a modern kitchen won us over.
Michelle let us arrive before the check-in time, which was very much appreciated after such a long drive. She was also kind enough to bring a brand new BBQ for us to use. We were lucky the weather was nice and sunny, and so we enjoyed having all our meals in the backyard.
The cottage is perfectly located if you like bushwalking. Over 3 days, our group of 5 went to Hassans walls lookout, Deep pass canyon, The Lost City, Dobbs Drift lookout, Maiyingu Marragu, Dargan arch and Evans crown. Amazing walks and views.
Overall, we had an amazing time at the cottage and would highly recommend.

Thanks for taking the time to leave such a positive review Nga, we really appreciate. We try and make The Cottage - Lithgow feel like a home away from home. The weather was perfect for enjoying a bush walk. You have inspired me to do a few of the walks you have mentioned. We hope to see you again.

Publié le 8 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwaySuch a lovely property with large rooms, beautiful living area and a stunning kitchen. It was the perfect stay for my family. The Cottage is in a nice street very close to everything.
I would highly recommend if looking for somewhere to stay in Lithgow.

Heritage in Lithgow

The bedrooms are very spacious with plenty of storage and very comfy beds. The kitchen and lounge area are also very comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. All amenities needed for an easy stay with our friends were available. There is only one bathroom and toilet but that was not a problem for our group of four.

Beautiful cottage home

Excellent amenities, as well as linens and appliances. Family and I really enjoyed staying here. Plenty of space for a family or 3 couples.
Only negative would be bathroom needs a little spruce up to match the rest of the house.
