Lake front studio is located on 2 1/2 acres of grass and majestic oak trees. There are solar string lights in the trees that come on at night creating an enchanting wonderland. This lake front gem sports a fully stocked kitchen. Washer and Dryer. Luxurious bath with two person whirlpool tub and two person double shower head shower. Your own private deck to enjoy the sunset. Invite friends and family for s'mores at the fire pit. Come have a mini staycation . Take the complimentary kayaks, paddle boards, or canoes out or bring your own boat. A Boat ramp is quite close. Run away from the hustle of the city. Watch the wind blow the water. Drift away with the clouds. Guest should know that we are in unincorporated Denton County. When you turn on Doe Branch Road you will drive past some trailer houses and junk cars. I share this with you, so you, might not judge my neighbors. It is extremely quiet and safe out here. If you are looking to escape the concrete jungle, then you have found your peace and calm. Located on Lake Lewisville; We are 10 min from Legacy West in Frisco. 10 min from the mall in Frisco. 10 min from the cowboys new stadium. 10 min from downtown Denton. 12 min from Prosper. 5 min from Aubrey. There are two short term rentals on site. Our property is 2 1/2 acres with the cottage on the far left and the studio on the far right. The owner lives on site in the main house.

Wonderful Stay by the Lake
We loved our short stay at The Studio! The property was beautiful and very inviting. Everything was clean and the home had all the amenities we needed. The host was communicative and made both the check-in and check-out process easy. We enjoyed fishing by the lake, canoeing, and roasting marshmallows by the fire. Perfect peaceful getaway!

Quick little weekend getaway
My husband and I (and our sweet baby) stayed a night here to celebrate our anniversary. We loved it! We would love to come back and enjoy it more, because we really didn’t get enough time to enjoy everything. But if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place to getaway, we highly recommend!

Perfect Lakeside R&R
My wife and I took our dog for a three day weekend in the winter. The weather was too cold for swimming but the studio has a perfect view of the water! The size was perfect for the three of us and our dog enjoyed the spacious outdoors for walks. The studio itself has great water pressure, easy to keep the temperature comfortable in the space, a spacious bathroom, and comfortable bed. Hosts were kind and understood that we’re still working on our pup’s manners.

Paradise away from home!
My expectations were blown out of the water. Not only was the studio a wonderful place to stay, but so were the hosts. Both caring people, and did an amazing job preparing our stay. It felt like a paradise away from home. We’ll be back again!

We had a relaxing, no-hassle stay for two nights. It was nice to have such easy access to kayaks and paddle boards anytime we wanted to use them. It was great to stay at a property that welcomed our two dogs with open arms, and the check-out instructions were short and straight-forward!

Peaceful, lovely lake view
No banging doors, quiet neighbors, front row parking, responsive and kind hosts. 100 degree heat had the ac unit working hard, but with the box fan blowing on me at night—I stayed cool. Main bed (and selection of pillows) super comfy. My friend slept on pull out and felt the bar thru mattress. Lots of large fluffy towels, for bathroom and lake (easily distinguished). I would’ve liked more washcloths, a bath mat (just used a towel), as well as a soap pump and hand towel for each bathroom sink, but I didn’t ask for more (and there was a washing machine had I been so inclined). Little (harmless) flies everywhere, I brushed them off the door at night -before- entering, after making the mistake of welcoming them in the first night (maybe not an issue if you return after dark). I also didn’t check outdoor seat cushions before sitting outside in the morning, and there were small piles of dead ones on the cushions. The porch cushions, table and rails could benefit from a wash/spray down due to bugs dead and alive, webs... I didn’t try the watercraft, but what an inviting array—I even saw a host washing them (and life vests) down on my last morning. Hosts thoughtfully provided some bottled water in fridge, but I do recommend bringing more bottled water to stay hydrated in the Texas heat if you’re picky about tap water (like me!). If you’re looking for a getaway in Little Elm area, this is it!

Hidden gem is an understatement!! Best three days of rest and relaxation. Kayaking, swimming and cooking on the grill! Beautiful property. Very clean with anything you could ask for. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great spot
We booked the Studio and Cottage for a grad party. It was fantastic. Clean, the area was large, kayaks and canoes were in great shape. Hosts were very nice. Would highly recommend!

It was so fun and it really allowed me to enjoy nature and we made smores and a campfire and the canoes were so fun to be on and having full control over our experience there. I really got to spend time with my grandma and the owners were amazing! They made us feel very safe and welcome and the house had everything we needed from spices to dish detergent and snacks and brooms and even a vacuum. The jets in the bathtub were wonderful and everything in the house was clean and the house was nice and cool when we got there. They even had bug spray hand sanitizer bug repellent and everything we needed for outdoors if we wanted to we really could have stayed at the house the whole time with no excursions and had the time of our lives. They had outdoor games like cornhole a swinging tire and the chandeliers outside are gorgeous I really do recommend going because it feels so relaxing like your in your own world but there are great food spots close by and right outside the neighborhood it’s located in! Not to mention it looks beautiful at night and it has WiFi and a hotspot to use! 5 stars from me!!!!!! -Jaleah
