Family Time

Their beautiful home on Little Lake was very peaceful and had enough water toys and games for my whole family to enjoy. My babies loved fishing on the lake. I love the VCR tv upstairs for the children. Something my techs needed a glimpse of. Plenty of toys and space. We loved how we could cook dinner, eat, and play a game or watch TV all together at the same time. They had wall art that said choose life and this home sure help you focus on just that. So does the service makes it easier.

Bridal Weekend stay
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe rented this cabin for the weekend and at check in time we got there and the entire place had not yet been cleaned from previous people who had stayed. Check in was at 4pm, we weren’t able to utilize it until 9pm that night due to the cleaners coming so late.
Beautiful place to stay. Will not be renting from this “company” again…
This was my bridal party staying here from out of town as well. Big Inconvenience. Especially when we had been in contact with the company people all day long and they had told me that the cleaners would be out by four and that we were not able to have an earlier check-in due to it needing to be cleaned.

I’m so glad you could see the beauty of Farmer Lake!
I understand how frustrating it can be when things don’t go as perfectly as planned, especially for such a special occasion like your bachelorette party. I agree that the delay was a big inconvenience, and I’m truly sorry that our cleaning team fell short for your 4 PM arrival.
I’d like to clarify what we did to try and improve the situation. In addition to not having the cottage ready on time, I know you were hoping for an early check-in, which we unfortunately couldn’t accommodate due to a carpenter making necessary repairs and the previous guests departing that morning. We were in regular contact with the maid of honor throughout the afternoon of your arrival to keep you informed.
We found ourselves in a tough spot when our scheduled cleaner got sick. As a small family business, we immediately worked to compensate your group for the inconvenience. This was the first time something like this has happened, and we all felt terrible and were scrambling to make it right.
Since then, we’ve taken steps to develop a stronger back-up cleaning team to prevent this from happening again.
When we let your group know the cottage was ready at 8:15 PM, we were relieved to hear that you were enjoying yourselves at the bar and would arrive whenever ready.
As further compensation, we offered your group an unlimited late check-out.

Farmer lake was nice

Perfect UP house!

Beautiful home with a view.
Publié le 2 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayBeautiful home with all the amenities. Plenty of room for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Kitchen stocked with utensils, pots and everything necessary, we played games and enjoyed a warm fire. Would love to come again in the summer time and enjoy the water.

Cabin was clean and we had enough room for the family to have space plus be together. Close to Marquette and places we wanted to see.
