The staff was really really nice and accommodating however the overall cleanliness of the hotel was disappointing.

The location was really good, the room was comfortable and I was really pleased to have free toiletries and tea and coffee facilities. The room was a bit dated - the window in the room didn't seem to close and the sink and bath had some paintwork falling off. However for the price I paid I was very happy.

The Adelphi has definitely seen better days and is badly in need of complete refurbishment but having said that the location, price, cleanliness and staff couldn’t be faulted - we had a lovely last minute stay after our trains were cancelled.
The bar staff were attentive and friendly and the front desk staff could not have been more helpful.
The room was huge with a separate wardrobe area and a separate bathroom
The rooms were old but very clean, heated towel rails and lovely toiletries were all provided
I’d highly recommend if like us, you’re looking for value for money and are not fussy about style and don’t intend to be in the room long.
