Perfect weekend getaway cottage
Publié le 22 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe went to stay with friends for a couple of nights to catch up and see more friends nearby. We had a wonderful time. Amy made us feel really welcome through her messages in advance and we really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies she had left for us. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and everything we needed. The log fired hot tub was a real treat and we barely left the cottage the whole time, except to walk round the locks and back. Highly recommended and excellent value for money. We will be back!

Luxurious and Cosy cottage

The cottage is so lovely and cosy with lots of luxurious finishes. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and full of goodies! The hosts clearly made a lot of effort to make us feel welcome, even bought some treats for our dog!
The host Amy was very responsive to any queries about the property too, which was reassuring.
The wood fired hot tub was amazing! It did take a lot of effort to get it ready for use but it was worth it and stayed hot for a long time. We had a very enjoyable stay, and would love to return in the summer if we get chance :)
