It was a short stay was treated very nicely and all staff were amazing

We were looking forward to using the pool and jacuzzi only to be told that there was an extra charge of £10 per person per swim. I’ve never come across this before in a hotel. It’s always free to use the pool. We reluctantly paid £30 for one swim and found out when we got into the pool that the jacuzzi was out of order. We felt totally ripped off.
The hotel rooms are tired and need updating. There was no air conditioning, which meant we had an uncomfortable sleep on a hot summer night. I’m afraid we were not happy customers at this hotel.

Pleasantly surprised how good the hotel was. Staff helpful and friendly and room good standard.

There was a wedding and we actually felt as though we were part of their big day-the outdoor tent was right outside our thin window. Some sort of heads up at checkin at-least would have helped.

Disappointed

On check out, all 4 members of staff looked at me and didnt respond to my "good morning" greeting.
Remember when covid hit and contractors and essential workers kept you in a job????
