The room was comfortable although a little compact.
The downside was that I was given a room opposite a pub that played very loud music until 4am on Sunday morning.

Shocking! Clueless staff, needs a good clean and generally awful!

Former grand hotel seen far better days. Reception full of dirty plastic flowers and torn out of date notices. Individual staff very nice but difficult to find anyone who spoke English. Room clean but very shabby. Bathroom dangerous; deep bath with no handrails and difficult to access due to over large heavy Perspex panel. Should have had shower curtain instead. Room clean and beds comfortable. WiFi did not work.

This hotel is blighted by the very noisy late night bars located in scarisbrick Avenue. Exceptionally loud music til 4am so sleep is near impossible
