Great location, nice rooms, quite spacious and modern. Air con was an added bonus. Really liked the bar area, it was relaxing and roomy. Had to wait for 20mins to be seated at breakfast, I’m assuming not enough staff on shift, but they were all friendly and hard working.

Activities on the water. Breakfast was good and plentiful. On site underground parking.

Good, comfortable, clean hotel, with lovely views of the lake and seaside. Complex around it is empty but should be a lot busier once the neighbouring theatre and conference centre is built.

After having amazing stays here previously we were a little disappointed that this one was not so amazing, we did enjoy, but most of the staff dont speak or understand english this made queries difficult, breakfast was lovely but felt rushed and watched. The rooms we had were totally different, even though we were close to eachother , the double bed we had booked was more of a small double but was extremely comfortable with lovely crisp fresh sheets, the room its self was clean although lots of stains on the carpet. The bathroom was extremely clean but the bath plugs were filthy underneath (maybe i am just a tad OCD and check these things that others dont) food and drinks were very expensive so we didnt dine in and so, i cant comment on that. Check in and out was extremely easy with lovely reception staff. Unfortunately the fire alams going off at 7am ruined our last morning lie in and no staff came to the floors to assure guests that it was just a fault. It was handy to have a carpark but again extra expense. I understand the ownership has changed and hope this is just them finding their feet.
