Warm, friendly pub with delicious breakfast!!

Nice pub with friendly staff.
Publié le 22 sept. 2019 sur HotelsNice pub with very friendly staff. Room was comfortable with tv and tea making. En-suite had a good shower. A little tired perhaps in decor but clean. We stayed 3 nights and didn’t see much evidence of daily tidying or cleaning of our room other than bin emptying and replacement of bottled water. We are tidy people so didn’t really bother us. Breakfast was ok but little choice if you didn’t fancy a full cooked breakfast or various elements of it. We were out all day motorcycling around the fabulous roads nearby and it was a pleasant enough place to return to each evening.

Emplacement : Rainy and wintery so didn't do too much but happy to be at the Hotel and go to the celebration that we had come for.
Really pleased we stayed there as it had everything - panelling,, stone, kind and caring staff and good food.
We know it is due for refurbishment which would be good as our room was rather sparse without any pictures up and only a net curtain at the bathroom window which could be overlooked. The pillows were very uncomfortable, but the room was really clean and well maintained overall and we would like to visit again please. Thank you to the establishment to the staff.

Emplacement : Middle of town. Brecon Beacons nearby.
Lovely staff who will show you to your room on checking-in and offer excellent, friendly service in the bar/restaurant and at breakfast. Food was excellent - both dinner and breakfast. Free parking at the rear of the pub. Only complaint was that room 12 is right above the bar/restaurant toilets and your are kept awake by the hand dryers being switched on and off. Could also do with softer pillows. That being said, I would stay again.

Pour : It is in a lovely little country village
We had a large comfortable room, with a comfy bed & well fitted out bathroom. Dinner & breakfast were excellent. The decorations throughout the old building were wonderfully quirky

Large comfortable room
Wifi abit poor in room
Staff were very helpful
Good parking and host let us leave our car there, after we checked out, to go exploring

Publié le 3 août 2017 sur HotelsWe stayed overnight looking at some local National Trust properties. A very old and well kept Inn, with a great atmoshere. Lovely local food especially the breakfast. a nice little town, we would certainly recommend it.
