The lady who runs it. Just so nice and knowledgeable about the area. Room large and comfortable. Breakfast first class. Poached eggs amazing. It’s a place to make new friends. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for two nights in a lovely twin room with seating area. It was extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great as was our hostess Sarah. We definitely recommend a stay here.

The property was the best we have ever stayed in you could not fault anything. Sarah our host always on hand to answer questions about the area breakfast was really good The property was set in the middle of the country side and only a 5 minute drive to Llandrindod Wells or Builth Wells.If we visit the area again we will be staying at this property again it is a 10 out 10 place

What a fabulous find for a lovely peaceful few days.
Everything about the Acorn is wonderful.
No all night bar, no permanent hustle and bustle. Just wonderful peace and quiet in a lovely place.

Publié le 15 juin 2023 sur HotelsWe couldn't have chosen a better place even if we tried. The room was spacious and clean, the food was excellent and the Sarah was welcoming, warm and so friendly. Nothing was too much for her, breakfast was delicious, the cakes we found waiting in the room for us in the evening were to die for. She even fixed the weather for us, so we had glorious sunshine throughout our stay. Amazing! We have already recommended it to friends and we will be going back again and again. I am so pleased we discovered this gem of a place.
