Good getaway

Loved we could go off grid so close to Christchurch. Well equipped little house - bit low on matches and cleaning cloths. Also pretty obvious that it needed a deep clean - I moved the bedside dresser to find a large collection of mouse poo - and then pretty much find that to be the case under all the furniture - it was even under the mattress. Cleaned up what we could before we left but it definitely took a shine off the weekend. I took photos

I apologise the 'shine was taken off your stay here' by the pre-presence of small rodents. We do pride ourselves on cleanliness and quality of stay here. A couple of things in my defence, our cottage is right next to the bush so while the cottage is vacant for longer periods in the cooler months these little four legged friends sometimes like to pay a visit. Under normal circumstances I would have done as you had suggested a ‘Deep clean check’ prior to your arrival however I was away at the time and had someone else come in to set up for you. Whilst first impressions looked good it was obviously not the case behind and under the furniture. Once again please accept my apology, I will not let this happen again.

Beautifully back to basics

An absolute amazing beautiful shack that takes you back to basics and to enjoy the nature environment around you, family and friends. We went over with kiddies, horses, pony, and dog. Corina is absolutely amazing and really accomodating. We absolutely loved our stay. Thank you so much Corina, girls can not wait to come back

Tranquil and private retreat

I and my group of friends loved staying in this private and peaceful place in the country. We were able to travel easily to nearby Rangiora and Ashley Gorge, but spent most of the time sitting outside in the sunshine and relaxing. Having a fenced area around the house was great as it meant the dogs were able to run freely. Being off grid was good for us even though it took a little getting used to - internet break is good for all of us! Good descriptions and instructions. We had a bit of a hard time finding the water hole but that might have been us! Thank you for the experience, as we all enjoyed it very much.
