Gem of a hotel

Just a few minutes from the motorway, easy to find, centrally located in the town, free and ample parking. On arrival in the hotel, was greeted by a very friendly young lady who checked me in, took my dinner reservation and showed me to me room. The room was a good size for one person, bed was comfortable and the room was modern, bright and well equipped. Dinner was excellent, top service, great food and reasonable prices cant fault a thing. Breakfast the next day was pretty much the same, great start to the day and sadly checking out and leaving, I would say whole heartedly that the next time I am in the area that this will be my go to choice of hotel. Seriously cannot think of a single negative or slightly negative thing to say.

One night stopover in Lockerbie

The dinner booking for 7pm was very disappointing due to no food till 8pm.
However, when the food came it was delicious

Very friendly staff, spotless and comfortable rooms and fantastic food in the restaurant. Will be back.

Staff and service fantastic. Issue with time of check out being different than Hotels.com.

Over-priced, over-stated, underwhelming

Food was well presented but over-cooked and altogether poor. Certainly not worth the extortionate prices.
The reception during check was unwelcoming and the room very small. This stay was part of a group of stays in various hotels, this was the most expensive but sadly the worst.
