This property needs a lot of work. The room we had needed a whole painting. The restroom had mildew on the ceiling. The smoke alarm wires were exposed there wasn't no smoke alarm attached. The tub had rust. My kids couldn't even go swimming due to the pool had algae. As for the breakfast they bag up your breakfast with no gloves on and you had to wait until they give you your breakfast bag. I wouldn't go there again.

Chisholm Trail Round Up weekend
Location of the hotel is great!! Room was sketchy, piece of shower wall cut out with big noticeable gap, which made us uncomfortable. Had to shove a towel in the gap incase of hidden camera. (You never know) Bathroom was overall dirty, pubic hair all in the bathtub. Cable didn't work in room, kept trying to load... good thing we brought our PlayStation. Wifi was good. Went to look for ice machine, found it....cord was stretched to the max and of course didn't work. Went walking around to maybe find another one, but instead found some late night crack head mechanics working on there 98 mustang. Our patio had a great view of the pool and also included several empty Corona negra courts of beer. Beds were decent, price point was the best part of the stay $200 for 2 nights versus $600 at other hotels in town for 2 nights.

This place is so run down. Paint flaking off the door, tap for the bath coming out of the wall. Trash in the outside area and dirty bed sheets!

Good customer service, but rooms need update.
Stayed here a couple weeks for work. Front office, and maids extremely courteous, but rooms pretty run down for the price. $75 isnt bad, but ive stayed in $50 a night rooms that were in better condition. Built in restaurant is a bonus

I had booked the room for 3 nights, every time I went back to it I had to go to the office to get a new card key. The sunlight was visible around three sides of the door. The room was full of flies. The nonexistence of weather stripping allowed multiple black beetles easy access to come and go whenever. The toilet had to be flushed a minimum of 3 times. The light bulbs must have been 10 watt because it was very difficult to read a book. The door lock worked and so did the ac. The fascia was rotten on the north side of the building. The parking lot was in terrible condition. I have stayed in better places for less money.

Nastiest motel in the country
We went to check in the room was not clean. It had empty beer cans and drug paraphernalia all over the place. No sheets . The peep hole was missing and stuffed with paper. Junk cars piled up at the back and driveways and parking spots were destroyed. The room smelt like marijuana and was gross. We left and went to another place. This is the worst place I have ever been. I am adding pictures as proof. I want everyone to see how true this is.

The owners of the property should take more pride in their business. Rotten wood, termites, parking lot a mess with pot holes and broken concrete, old mattresses and trash thrown under an awning. Looks like “slum lord” facilities. I had two rooms. Mine… no coffee pot, no blow dryer, no microwave, dusty furniture, old furniture that was mismatched. There was a black ring around the bottom of the wall that looked like the room may have flooded. Plus side, bed was ok and A/C worked well. The pillows sucked. My sons room had all of the above mentioned appliances but his bed sheets were stained and the bed spread had blood stains on it. They felt the room was haunted as the blow dryer fell off the wall in the middle of the nights and their bags tipped over and fell to the floor for no reason. I know the rooms are in expensive , but with alot of TLC. They could remodel and charge more. Could be a cute country town place to stay but needs lots of work. The man at the desk was very nice and friendly though.

The staff was polite but the room was horrible. Very dirty and outdated. There was food in the freezer the bedding was not clean. The television volume did not work.The door had a huge gap and I could see outside not sure if it was truly secure. There was broken furniture and abandoned cars in the parking area. Would not stay there again.

Horrible experience
Had a reservation weeks ago, was given my room key and when i went to my room it haven't been cleaned. No sheets in the bed, used QTip on the nightstand. Went back and told them my room hadn't been cleaned yet. I was told it was a mistake by the housekeeper and the only other room yhey had would be a minute wait. I said thats fine, Ill run and get some gas and come back. I get into my roo. and it smells like someone had been squatting in it. Also beware was written on outside of the door. I didn't even try to get my money back and went to the Best Western down the street. Much nicer and doesn't stink.

As soon as we pulled into the property it felt unkempt. The grass was uncut and there was trash in the yard. The doors to our rooms were difficult to shut and did not feel secure. The locks did all work. The mattresses and walls had stains, there were bugs everywhere. The furniture was a hodge podge of items and much of it was dirty or broken. The beds did have covers on the mattresses and the sheets smell like bleach so even though we saw stains the smell was not bad. While we anticipated this was not a high end hotel, it was much worse than our expectations. We checked out after the first night even though we were supposed to stay for 2.

Very ourdated, I sat on my bed and it so uncomfortable and a huge beatle walking on the floor. Hotel desk was nice enough but for the money i spent I could've driven to Luling and stayed at a nicer hotel. Never again!°
