I booked room with no refunds apparently and called to let the owner know I was gonna be late check in. Had some things come up and we were 5 1/2 hours away, and the owner said no matter what time I check in, that I would still get my room I already paid for. So I got there and all the sudden my reservation has been canceled and he tells me I donât have a room and I canât get any refund at all. So then he tells me that I have to pay for another room when I had to be at the event we drive all the hours for in the first place. At the end of it I lost about 70 dollars and I also had to give him all the money I had on me after I basically begged him to let me stay there for a few hours to get to this event, it was just a bad day gone worse
The room was clean although run down. A few weirdly broken things like the faucet handle kept falling off. The staff was great, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a muffin, pastry and juice. Most days a banana.
Mr. Patel is a friendly person who means well for his guests, but this a dated, rundown and very large property that is way past its prime--from the cracked driveway to the scratches on the room wall. The pool was filled with green water and unusable, though I saw an employee adding chlorine to kill the algae. I don't envy his family--it would take a king's ransom to get this property back in good shape. But he's trying.
The grounds are well kept but the room was damp and clammy feeling. The bedding was stained. Everything Metal had rust on it. The shower faucet pulled away from the wall when lifting the knob to engage the shower. I didnât feel comfortable taking a shower there but I turned the shower on in hopes of washing some of the chemicals down the drain. The room wreaked of chemicals. I had to leave the door opened for awhile to air it out. The baseboards looked moldy. On the positive side it was fairly quiet. No trains whizzing by.
The Mexican restaurant next to it make us the stay perfect.
The food is good at the restaurant and have happy hours latter and you just has to walk to your room. Also the swimming pool is clean and is open 24 hrs. as an advise you just has to do some investments to make the rooms look more modern and competitive to be 5 stars.
Literally a roach motel. Turned on the light and the roaches scattered. Next door people had two pit bulls and the dogs tied to the front pole. The property is definitely not maintained.
Nasty roach infested crap hole. We walked in and left immediately and went elsewhere. Booked a non smoking verified at check in and still got a smoking room.
Enormous Mound of fast food bags in parking space in fron of room_ bathroom needs remodeling - no soap - two old towels for bathing. Bed was ok room was clean.
Normally I wouldn't leave a bad review but this one needs to left.
First warning sign was people in the parking lot walking roosters on a leash. When we got to the room, smell of drugs, headboard half on the wall and ganging down. We left and went somewhere else. I wouldn't let my dog stay at this place
