Dakota Trail Cabin is a 2 bedroom cabin within walking distance to Old Man's Cave State Park in Hocking Hills. Enjoy the convenience of not having to not having to find a parking space in a full lot at Old Man's Cave Park. With a private yard with easy parking. After hiking come and enjoy our 5 person hot tub on a covered porch. We offer an outdoor fire pit with a gas and charcoal grill. The cabin has 1 deck and one covered porch with outdoor furniture. A 40" smart tv with satellite tv and wireless internet for your enjoyment. Enjoy a gas log fireplace. A full kitchen with basic cooking utensils and tableware and a full-size bathroom with a tub/shower combo. WE ALSO HAVE A SIMULAR CABIN , (STARR VALLEY ) WHICH IS CLOSE AND(PONDEROSA) ON THE SAME PROPERTY. Pet fee of $50.00 per stay,please don't forget to check ✅ the box. Lovely clean little cabin. Nice yard for the dogs. Close to hiking trails. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, checking with us by phone the day before our arrival and offering any needed items. Hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking.

Charming Cabin Close to Prime Hiking
The cabin was clean and cozy. We were pleasantly surprised to find fire starting supplies on hand even though we’d brought our own. Cabin location is perfect for going to Old Man’s cave and many other hiking trails in the area.

Quiet, clean and close to everything
The cabin was nice and private. It had everything I needed for my stay. Great wifi and the hot tub was amazing. Located close to the popular spots, it was nice to be able to stop back whenever I wanted while I was exploring. Two small convenience stores very close by and about 20 minutes from town if you need real groceries and supplies. The host was very welcoming and helpful. There was a nice hand written binder with information on the cabin and location and some information on things to do.

Very private location with a great hot tub! It was clean and ready for use upon arrival. We had everything we needed for a romantic getaway. Perfect snowy stay
Stayed with my boyfriend and our dog and we had a great time! The property is BEAUTIFUL and our Newfoundland loved running around in the snow. The driveway was clear from snow and a great spot to see the stars! Location was nice as we were close to popular hikes like Old Man’s Cave and Ash Cave. Would stay again!

Relaxing getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! Our dog felt so at home from the minute we arrived which is very unusual for him! He was a rescue dog and now living his best life going on different little trips with us! This cabin was very clean! The hot tub was just what we needed for these extremely cold days! We plan on a return trip to Hocking Hills and plan to stay at this cabin again! Thanks again for for your wonderful cabin!

Great little cabin
Great little cabin in a very nice location, right near Old Man’s Cave and the park lodge. We enjoyed the hot tub while the snow flakes were coming down! The fireplace kept it very cozy warm. Kitchen was well stocked and I appreciated the coffee supplies!

Sweet little cabin near Old Mans Cave
We loved the location and how easy the cabin was to find. It was cozy and perfect for four adults. The hot tub was super clean and not over chlorinated. The hosts were very thoughtful to decorate for Thanksgiving, it made our holiday more special. We will book again!

Weekend getaway!
This was the perfect little cabin to stay in for a short weekend away! Very close to the parks & other places to visit. Very cozy at night time in the jacuzzi, relaxing! The area is perfect. We will be back to stay again!

Cozy, quiet, and private
Centrally located to everything in Hocking Hills--Less than 1/4 mile from Old Man's Cave--yet very quiet and secluded. Even tho the hot tub is on the "front"porch , it is private because the tree lined creek on the downhill slope and the huge open field on the gentle sloping uphill sides of the cabin obscure any sight from any other structures or roads. The cabin is perfect for 4. Very tastefully decorated in MountainMan/Native American decor. The sofa and recliner are very comfortable, Temperature control in the cabin was easy -- thermostat-controlled Air Conditioner/Heater. The gas fireplace has natural flame and turns on/off with temp setting. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking and baking. There is a second deck to enjoy sitting outside. There is a fire pit with a picnic table close by and a propane outdoor grill. Cozy in cold weather; I'm sure it'll be just as wonderful when we come back during warm weather.
