OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

There is a second unit on the property that is far enough away that the cottage feels private and secluded. It's not viewable from the back and has a privacy fence. This unit is available to rent simultaneously if you wish to have the entire property to yourself.

Please note that our water is on a well system. There is still a slight sulfur/iron smell with the hot water.

The perfect getaway
My husband and I wanted to visit Hocking Hills for our anniversary. We booked this cottage, and it turned out perfect. This rental was beautiful, and had everything we needed. It was also very clean, and stayed nice and cool during a heat wave. It was the perfect place to cool off and rest after a day in the heat. We loved it!

Attention to detail
It isn't often a place exceeds our expectations, but that's how I'd describe this place. It was perfectly sized for our 3 person family... felt very private, had amazing views both out front and out back. The care and attention to detail with all of the amenities are what really sold it for us. Well appointed kitchen (including many common spices), movies, games, solo stove, quality grill, the list goes on. We wished we had another day when we left. Thanks so much to the hosts!

Perfect for Small Couple
This house was perfect for two people, and very close to the park - essentially 10-15min drive to any landmark locations. The house was exceptionally clean with all brand new appliances and household items. Not big on reviews, but definitely felt the need to on this one. Communication with property owner was always very prompt as well. No issues whatsoever.

Anniversary Getaway!
We travel to Hocking Hills every year for our Anniversary and enjoy staying in a different cabin each year. We loved the location and attention to detail at Meadow Rise. Beautiful property!

Cute Cozy Place
This place was exactly as described. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor lighting. The other property was closer than expected but it was still very private. We enjoyed dinner at 58 West and hiked the Hocking Hills trails. The only down side is there wasn’t to much to the town itself but that just made us stay and enjoy our place more.

Meadow Rise Shines! ☀️
We had a wonderful time at Meadow Rise Cottage. It was extremely clean and cozy - just as advertised - and was perfect for our midweek stay. We were close to hiking, shops and restaurants and enjoyed privacy at the cottage. We loved the collection of books, movies and games. We slept very well in the king size bed and the kitchen had everything we needed, as listed in the inventory paperwork. We can highly recommend this property and owner and would definitely stay again! ❤️
