Our stay at Elmhurst Inn was great. The staff were helpful and friendly. This hotel is old but everything is well kept and clean.
It was a nice surprise to find out that breakfast was included with our stay.

Cleanliness was ok. We were on the second floor. It was pretty good. Other people I know, were on the the first floor. They were complaining a bit about carpeting in their room. A bit of mustiness, a little dampness. Carpeting needs to be updated. Vinyl flooring would be more updated. $267 + dollars is too much money. Have paid less than that in Niagara Falls, cleaner rooms and more updated.

Thank you for your feedback about your recent stay. We do apologize that some other guests were disappointed with the cleanliness of their room. We will certainly address this with our housekeeping team. In regards to vinyl flooring instead of carpet, this is something we are considering for the future.

Our room had a smell of body order. The staff would not provide us with another room. They offer to bring in a dehumidifier and cleaned out the filters of the air conditioner that looked liked it had never been cleaned before.

We are sorry to hear that your room did not meet your expectations. In regards to moving rooms the staff may not have been able to due to being sold out. If this was not the case we do apologize and will certainly address this accordingly. We do strive to take care of our guests to the best of our abilities.
