Stayed in room B17 and unfortunately had a really poor experience. Our room was right next to the staff room, and there was constant banging and loud noise throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep. The carpet was filthy, and the room itself was so dark and gloomy. It honestly felt like an afterthought — tucked away down in the basement, through a locked back door and past the staff area. When I mentioned our bad experience to a staff member, the only gesture offered was a bottle of water, which felt quite inadequate given how much we paid for two nights. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the location is excellent, especially if you're visiting the Hammersmith Apollo. But overall, I left feeling disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location and enjoyed our stay

I was really impressed with the hotel. Location was excellent, less than 5 minutes from Hammersmith tube, close to the Eventim Apollo. Lots of places to eat near by. There was a fridge in the room, the staff were friendly and the room was clean. Beds were quite hard but not as bad as some I have stayed in. We felt safe walking back late from our concert. I would stay here again.

2nd Stay at the Luma

I stayed at the Luma pre-Covid and was looking forward to staying there again. The staff are so nice and helpful. The rooms seem like they could use a little "updating". Nothing major, and certainly nothing that impeded my enjoyment of my holiday. Some of the switches in the room didn't seem to do anything. The wall between the desk and the bed was coming apart at the seams. The safe was locked when I got there, couldn't get it open. And it does seem that some things that used to be provided in the rooms are no longer available. Other than those items, it was a nice stay. The cleaning staff always had my room made up by the time I got back from my day's wanderings around London. Comfortable bed and pillows. Towels were quite nice, luxurious even. Shower worked great. Had a great stay and would stay at the Luma again.

Overall would stay there again. Staff was very helpful in general. Room layout a little awkward and little things, such as poor lighting around the mirror, only large bath towels, and stained carpet were annoying, but quiet and convenient.

Great one-night stay close to the tube

Great one-night stay on our last day back in London before leaving for the states. Love the overall modern sheik vibe, AIR CONDITIONINg, and the comfortable King bed. Hammersmith is a hip area of London with quick access to the Hammersmith tube station. I would stay here again.

Basement room was an unwanted surprise. It had one window and it looked out into another hallway rather than outside. Sink is in the main area not the toilet room. There are no hand towels - just large towels. Shower stall is very tight. Mini fridge doesn’t work. Room was clean, good air conditioning, solid water pressure, lots of mirrors. Location was great - just a few minutes walk to Hammersmith station.

It was a good stay! Maybe just empty the bins in the room daily. Doesn’t need to get cleaned fully but empty bins would be a nice touch. Good neighborhood and would come back
