The accommodation is very poorly located: close to a busy street (early morning delivery in particular) and very bright, and just next to a railway track. In addition, the thermal and sound insulation is poor, so it was cold and there was a lot of noise at night. Okay on the other hand, facilitate check-in and rather clean.
Leman House was a great little hotel in a central part of London. You get what you pay for in terms of the cost. If you just need a small room and don't want to break the bank, this is definitely your place. The only main drawback was the size of the bathroom which was quite, quite small. But if you don't mind that, then this place will more than tick the box.
A fairly basic small B&B type hotel with a few rooms and a kitchen that guests can use to make tea/coffee or your own breakfast. Everything was very clean and my single room was small but very quiet and had a refurbished bathroom with good shower. Friendly owner was very welcoming. The location was convenient for the Tower Hill area with good tube connections from there and/or Aldgate East.
I guess quality might be aligned to price, but not recommend and in my opinion and based on experience much better options available in similar price range.
The place is definitely small but serves its purpose. I did have a broken tibia and didn't realize I had to climb three flights of stairs. Make sure you are capable physically for that.
