Bien situé
Publié le 17 mai 2024 sur HotelsHotels indique chambre mais il s'agit d'un lit dans un dortoir- l'établissement est bien situé pour les sorties, le personnel très sympa et propre malheureusement les autres clients ne sont pas toujours respectueux des règles (bruit nourriture propreté)

The beds were soooo small. You couldn’t even sit down because you would hit your head with the bed above. The least social hostel I’ve ever stayed at. However, it was very clean.

Very accommodating and attractions so close across the river. Walkable local life quite interesting.

It’s a hostel. And a good one.
Publié le 4 oct. 2024 sur HotelsIt’s a tiny hostel at an affordable price. Don’t expect much but a bed and a locker. People that get the cheapest room available and then complain about it not being a five star hotel need to book a five star hotel. Staff was perfectly nice, bunks were comfortable enough, and I lucked out with respectful roommates. STAYING AT A HOSTEL MEANS YOU ARE GOING TO GET A MIX OF PEOPLE. Sometimes they suck and sometimes they don’t. That is not the hostels fault.

Towels are not provided, apparently. If you need to shower, they will gladly SELL you a towel for £7.50, or $10 USD, non refundable. Try to skip the shower if you can anyways, because the showers are disgusting, the floor is so gross that I feared I would get athlete's foot. There are also no private spaces to change, not even a curtain in the room. You could hypothetically change in the bathroom but there's no clean or dry space to place your clothing. On my last day I brought my bra, underwear and a pair of jeans with me to shower and balanced them precariously on the hand dryer, and when I walked back to my room holding a towel in front of me, a strange man stood there staring at me as I awkwardly ducked into my bunk and climbed back under the blanket until he finally left me alone. Not to mention that they don't allow food in the rooms, and the pub downstairs is not only crowded but they allow smoking, so as I ate dinner there one night at the only open seat I had an asthma attack thanks to the gormless bloke smoking near me.
Go somewhere else!!

I realize this is a hostel, but it is terrible. Dirty, the rooms are SO small, with beds stacked 3 high and not even room to open your suitcase on the floor. 12x12 rooms with 3 stacks of 3 twin beds.Barely room to walk between beds. Dirty floors and bathrooms. Felt like a rabbit in a warren. And to top it all off, no hot water when I checked in. 2 days later, still no hot water so I left. They could not guarantee I would receive a refund on the 2 unused days, even though it was their issue with the water. I've stayed in hostels in London before, and this is by far the worst. Not worth the cost.
