Stayed for one night and chose the Radisson due to its prestigious brand thinking the service level would match . All I wanted was a desperately needed good nights sleep. That’s the general expectation when paying to stay at a hotel . I could have stayed at a travel lodge and I’m so annoyed with my decision to stay here at the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow airport instead. The staff are absolutely a joke. Rude unwelcoming welcome at check in and wasn’t even given full information you’d expect at the very minimum. Dreadful rude staff. I overlooked this as I desperately just wanted to sleep from undergoing terminal illness treatment. Went straight to sleep and looked forward to making my flight the next day . At 5am the room’s phone alarm went off continuously which frightened the hell out of me when I answered the hotel staff loudly said somebody else’s name and insisted that it was my wake up call?! I responded to say I never asked for a wake up call and the staff member kept saying no you are with the tour and this is what you’ve asked for. I had no idea what he was talking about. I put the phone down and went back to sleep. However by this time my sleep was disturbed. A few moments later the horrible phone alarm continuously went off againthis time it was the hotel manager insisting that I had asked for a wake up call I again said that they had the wrong person and I never asked for a wake up call I demanded to put in a complaint which was never done. Truly Dreadful .

Great stay at Rad Blu
We enjoyed our stay at the Rad Blu the night before taking a flight out of Heathrow! Easy to get to on local bus 111 which only cost £1.75 each way. Hotel lobby is lovely. We ate at the Pheasant Inn about 5-8 mins walk which was really good food!

WORST HOTEL EVER
The absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life and I’m not kidding. I’ve stayed at hundreds. The worst mattresses ever and the place is a total dump. I had the worst backache that night couldn’t sleep. Neither could my son never ever stay in this s@@t hole.

Won't ever be returning here! Experience went from bad to worse. Pre-check in all done, arrived at hotel after travelling for 22 hours with 2 suitcases and 3 other luggage items - no sign of Concierge. Met with long queue at Reception (approx 8.30pm), and two staff oblivious to the queue that seemed more intent on staring at the computer than actually processing check ins. Why is this always such an arduous process? You should show your ID/Passport, hand over credit card, and be off to your room, but took at least 10 minutes or more per person. Concierge even did a check in but was also oblvious to me struggling with my luggage and offered no assistance. Rooms are so dark I had to use my phone torch to find the control panel that would turn on the LEDs. Bar was accommodating in providing quick servie for drink and snack. Great shower with lots of pressure. I always start my day with 2 cups of tea and was absolutely mortified to find ONE decaffinated teabag - and it was tea stained! Then came the phone saga trying to call Concierge/Front Desk or anyone - three times phone rang out and went to cyber space. (I started calling at 10.20am). The pre-set buttons didn't actually go anywhere. Was there anything in the room that had the hotel's phone number on it? No! Would hate to think if there was an emergency. I was only saved by poor person from Housekeeping that knocked on my door after 11am to see when I would be checking out who rang helpful Jojo the Porter.

The hotel is fantastic! The beds are super comfortable and the room was spacious and cozy. The staff are respectful. The location is very convenient if you are arriving/departing from Heathrow as T2/3/4 are only 10-15 min away using public transports/taxis. There’s also the Hotel Hoppa service which stops in front of the hotel every half an hour and takes you directly to Heathrow. This is especially useful if you are carrying large bags and don’t want the 5 min walk to the nearest bus stop. The receptionists were very helpful and nice. The hotel is well decorated and beautiful. The hotel also has a well-equipped gym and a spa. The gym is in fact one of the better equipped hotel gyms I have seen. I have tried their restaurant and in room dining service. Food was excellent and so was the service from staff. Of course, the prices are on the higher end but I wasn’t expecting any cheaper given the reputation of Radisson Blu and the premium services/quality they offer.

Airport hotel with decent food
We booked this hotel as British Airways changed our flight time and we would have been unable to get to the airport on public transport at the new time. There was a queue at reception but it is an airport hotel after all. The receptionist who greeted us was friendly and helpful provided information on the early morning shuttle to terminal 5 and sorted out with the restaurant that we were running late because of transport and the queue. We ate in the restaurant. Both of us had the salmon and shared rosemary and parmesan fries with glasses of merlot and were pleasantly surprised to have both fish and vegetables which weren't overcooked! The room was comfortable, the air conditioning and shower worked. We had a very early flight so can't comment on breakfast. The staff we met were all friendly and helpful I would happily recommend this hotel
