Great location and cracking value. Lovely room with everything you needed. The only thing which was not 5 stars was the physical location of the breakfast hall and the quality of the food and service on offer. However this is really a minor issue for the price paid. The fact that the breakfast is served in the college 1 minute's walk away is stated on the website.

A nice, comfortable hotel, closer to the feel of a large guest house. My room was spotless and even though it was one of the small budget single rooms, it was nicely decorated and came with everything you would expect in a four star hotel. There is no bar or restaurant - although breakfast is served nearby. It’s a beautiful location - quiet, yet close to a huge number of bars and restaurants and cultural spots. My one complaint, and the reason I didn’t award five stars, is that my room was warm, even with the window open and heading off, in October. There was no AC and no fan and I imagine on a warm summer night that it could be oppressive.

Ok Enough, better if you're on a lower floor.
No elevators, narrow stairs, old carpets in he halls. Just a heads up if you stay in floors 3 or 4. Room was nice and it's next to a park on a quiet street. Very near the train station for ease.

It was just one night but it was wonderful! At check-in when I discovered there was no lift, the very kind gentleman at registration gifted me an upgrade to a ground floor room. Then he helped me with my two rolling bags to my room! Yes, I will gladly stay again. Beautiful and comfortable room. Very nice dinner in the restaurant at the college.

A tremendously enjoyable stay in a truly beautiful space. After booking many months ahead of our stay, it was such an unexpected surprise to roll in near midnight exhausted from our flight and open the door to the Dorothy Sayers Suite - a generous upgrade from our initial booking. Gorgeously appointed room, with every luxury in place, beautifully decorated, and enormous view onto the quiet street and leafy park from our cavernous lounge and dining area. Centrally and conveniently located in the heart of Bloomsbury, quiet upmarket neighbourhood. Very professional staff. Bed so comfortable you didn’t want to get up in the morning! After this experience, I don’t think we’ll be booking anywhere else but here when we return next year. Thank you.

This is defintiely not a 4 star hotel, more like a 2 star hotel. The room was tiny and looked nothing like the online photos. Staff were good and room was clean but the facility is tired, cramp and rundown.
