Nice place to stay in hip Hackney
Publié le 26 févr. 2019 sur HotelsWe found the staff helpful and appreciated that breakfast was included. The location is good - right next to Hackney Central, with buses running right outside on Mare Street. The place has character, the ground floor is a lively contemporary pub restaurant.

Décalé et pas mal mais ventilation trop bruyante
Publié le 13 oct. 2017 sur HotelsDécalé (en entre par le pub pour aller aux chambres mais c'est une activité annexe donc la réception et le check up sont gérés un peu aléatoirement (ordinateur bloqué, attente à l'accueil,...). La chambre était assez petite mais pratique, si on excepte une ventilation incroyablement bruyante (canalisation du pub coffrée dans un angle...)

Nice hotel, close to buses and overground to go to center London. Clean rooms, nice breakfast. Also restaurant! I'd recommand the place!

Hotel with lots of character
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HotelsCheck in was quick and easy. Whilst the pub is on a busy main road the rooms are located at the back, so there were no concerns about noise. Access to the 1st floor rooms is via a steep winding staircase, so extra care was needed when using it. There was a smell on the stairs, probably from the adjacent food takeaway, but this had dissipated before we got to the room.
The room was OK, with hanging storage and large low level shelf. There was also a safe, which we used. There was a 2-seater sofa, a small round table and a chair, which was probably a bit too much for the size of room.
Unfortunately the blinds did not fully cover the windows, which meant that the daylight woke us up early.
The bathroom was clean but we needed to be careful when using the shower as the water sprayed onto the shelf when our toiletries were placed (and spare toilet roll, which got wet).
Bed was made on Day 2 (we kept same towels) but wasn't made on Day 3 (and we needed to ask for clean towels.
The rooms would benefit from having air-con units as the vertical fan did very little in keeping the room cool.

Nice Pub/Hotel
Publié le 18 juill. 2024 sur HotelsNice little Pub/Hotel. Very friendly staff. Only downside is that they don’t server breakfast. Fortunately there are plenty of places outside to have breakfast.
