Great location for ABBA Voyage

Stayed here as the location was ideal for the ABBA Voyage concert. A very very friendly welcome, our room was very clean and comfortable and no complaint from my wife and I. A peaceful nights sleep with no other guest noise and very little if any traffic sound. Lovely breakfast, tasty, hot and plenty of choice. Loved the room entry system. Thank you to all the staff.

Good hotel, nice rooms, helpful staff, breakfast was hot, better than some other hotels. However, the air conditioning in the rooms is quite noisy and fan continues running for up to 30 minutes after switching a/c off. At night the noise seemed louder and prevented us from sleeping until switched off.

Bring your earplugs

We have used the West bridge hotel for several years now. Unfortunately the last two stays we have been allocated rooms in the older part of the hotel. This time we were in room 007, known as the Victoria Suite. Not a bad room on the face of it. One major problem, the heating is extremely loud and constant through the night. Luckily we brought ear plugs but if we hadn't this would not in my eyes be fit for purpose. Second issue was the hairdryer which cut out after only a minutes use, It came back on but repeated this three times before it had to be abandoned. Shame really as we do like the hotel.

Good Stay

Out stay at the Westbridge Hotel was good. Would highly recommend if you need somewhere close to a large train hub and shopping. The room was quiet and comfortable. The only comments would be that the overall condition of the room was lacking, you could see dust on the creases in the headboard and wear and tear on the skirting and paintwork in all the rooms. I would also say that £17 for breakfast is a bit much and they are not really able to cater for specific dietary needs. The Gym facilities were FANTASTIC! well resourced and enough space!

Upon arriving at the property, it was very nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful. In my allocated room, I tried using the sink and the sink immediately blocked with a lot of orange gunk coming out of the sink. Staff moved me to another room, however in this room when trying to use the shower in the morning, the hot water was not functioning, so I had to have a freezing cold shower. Staff were friendly but the amenities made my trip very unpleasant.
