THE WORST HOTEL EVER
We travel often, and rarely do we feel the need to leave a review but our experience at Zedwell London from March 22nd to 24th was so shockingly bad, we felt obligated to warn others.
Yes, the hotel looks sleek and modern. Yes, it’s conveniently located next to the underground. But none of that matters when your stay turns into a full-blown disaster.
On our first night, we were forced to change rooms due to unbearable noise from nearby bars. While the staff moved us quickly, it only got worse from there. The second room had extreme heat — we’re talking sauna-level, in the middle of winter. We couldn’t sleep, breathe, or even think straight. We politely asked for help, and their response was to bring us a plastic fan… A FAN! In London. In 2025.
We were ready to leave, exhausted and desperate for rest. Instead, they offered an “upgrade” — to a room meant for eight people, which made zero sense and felt more like a way to silence our complaint than an actual solution.
It’s hard to believe that such a well-located hotel in one of the most important cities in the world can fail in something so basic as climate control. After days of traveling across Europe and Asia, we ended our beautiful adventure with one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had.
We left feeling not only disappointed, but honestly, disrespected.
Let’s just say — if anyone at Zedwell reads this and truly believes in guest experience, they’ll know exactly how to make this right
