The property was nice, modern and well maintained. However, I was not prepared at how bare the Cocoon rooms were. No windows, closets, desk, chair or nightstand furnishings. Just the bed and a ledge at the headboard for charging small electronics. There was a sink but no counter. The shower & bathroom are open plan with no ledges for personal bath products. It is likely great for economy travelers, but if you like furnishings and amenities, this is not the hotel for you. There was a cafe and gym in the basement and connected to restaurants & pubs. Staff was very pleasant.

Lovely hotel for the price, it is basic but everything you need for a city break. Bed was comfortable and had a great sleep with no windows. Only two negatives was a charge for left luggage and no where to hang anything up in the room. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Great price and location

Avoid at all costs. Stayed 4 nights here, no room cleaning ever offered. Needed to ask for fresh towels. Staff at hotel would simply knock and open the door at their convenience. No space whatsoever for luggage’s or anywhere to store anything. No privacy whatsoever, bathroom is separated by a glass door. Very poor experience.

TERRIBLE. Read POOR reviews before booking.
This should not be allowed to advertise as a hotel. It’s a glorified hostel, nearly £200 a night gets you a windowless box with a bed and basic bathroom, absolutely nothing else, not even a stand for your case or kettle. 3 day stay did not speak to a single member of staff, self service check in with no directions, bar playing stupidly loud music until 3 every morning which bounces through your room, utter crap. Read the poor reviews before booking this, they are all true. The only perk it has is the location, if it was not for that it would be a 2 star hostel that no one would book. There isn’t even any facilities for buying coffee or snacks other than chocolate on the ground floor. This is the worst facility I’ve ever stayed in and am annoyed it’s able to advertise as a hotel because it isn’t. Terrible

I had high hopes for the Zedwell until we got to our room. I had booked 2 rooms, 1 room for 1 person and the other for 2 ppl. Upon check in, I made sure to reiterate the accommodations and I was assured that she was giving us the correct rooms. That didn't happen. When we got to our room we barely had room for our luggage! There were no dresser or closets. After checking in on my mom (who had a separate room) it turns out she was given the larger room. At that point we were just too tired to make the switch. So for 4 days my partner and I were like sardines in a room without any windows. Cleanliness of the bathroom was ok. The sink was kind of dingy and the soap bottle was gunky. The shower was the same thing. I was also disappointed that my Dyson Air wrap didn't work even with the converter and adapter. They charge 10 pounds for renting a hair dryer. Ridiculous. The room was too stuffy. Barely any circulation. No vents in the washroom either. Although not the worst place I've stayed in, but def won't be returning.

A Disappointing Stay at Zedwell Piccadilly Circus I had high hopes for Zedwell Piccadilly Circus, given its central location and modern design, but it turned out to be a letdown from start to finish. Housekeeping Issue: There’s no housekeeping unless you stay more than four nights, which wasn’t mentioned at booking. Zedwell’s self-service model means no staff explains this at check-in, leaving us unaware and feeling neglected. Check-In Delay: Although we arrived at check-in time, our room wasn’t ready. We had to wait half an hour for the floors to dry—a rough start after a long journey. Bed Bugs & Unprofessional Management: The worst issue was discovering bed bugs, which caused my mother to have a severe reaction. When we reported this, the manager initially requested we email instead of addressing it directly. After several follow-ups—and only after I mentioned writing a negative review—a partial refund was issued without prior discussion or apology, feeling more like a silencing tactic. Despite my request for a full refund, the hotel ignored my emails, and even Expedia couldn’t help. With lack of transparency, unclean rooms, and poor management, I can’t recommend Zedwell Piccadilly Circus. Avoid this place for a hassle-free stay in London.

We had to check ourselves in and make our own keys but there was no instructions staff had to help therefore why wasn’t there a dedicated secretary to check people in. The room was completely minimalist no tv, shelves, desk, or cupboards to store bags/clothes. It is an open floor room with a bed and a glass sliding door/wall separating the toilet/shower it’s close to see through if you like watching your partner poop it’s perfect for you. It’s advisable to put luggage and bags on the bed if taking a shower because the water can leak into the rest of the room. It’s very expensive and overpriced for what you get; definitely only paying for the location. Best advised as it’s the hotel policy you will charged £40 for early check in; just in case you have lots of luggage that you would like to drop off before going about your business it’s extortion.

Great for travellers.
Hotel was in an excellent location in Piccadilly, price for the two nights was good. The bedroom pod was nice and glad that I experienced it but I do not think I would go again. I missed a hairdryer, kettle and most of all a window to see what the weather was like in the morning and light done daylight in the room. The hotel purpose of the nature of these rooms is great to a certain manner and very confident, nicely priced and great for travellers but I personally just missed my little luxuries of the window, kettle, iron and hairdryer.
