We stayed here half way through our trip around Ireland. We were excited to have an apartment size room with a kitchen, as we were travelling with children. The cleanliness however could be improved upon, as we were left with a used dirty sponge and soap dispenser to wash dishes, which made us question the cleanliness of all the items in the kitchen. The sleeping arrangement would have one of our children sleep on the pullout coach, which was completely sinking in and horrible, so we ended up having three in a double sized bed. The first night we stayed was a Saturday and the sound from the other tenants and the heavy traffic outside kept all of us up until the early hours of the morning. Lastly, although the property manager tried to assist with connecting us to wifi, none of our devices had wifi. We were told that it’s a common issue with iPhones, but our android tablet also would not connect. Not having wifi for 3 days in the middle of a 2 week trip was a huge inconvenience. If they no there is an issue with iPhones, get new wifi? I would not recommend this property.

Hi kristenThank you for your review details of which we use to try and improve our customer service offering.I will address your concerns as follows.Firstly if you had taken the time to look under the sink you would have found washing up liquid to wash the dishes and I dispute the fact that you were left with a dirty sponge which is totally untrue.All our sleeping arrangements are clearly listed on the website you used to make the booking and if these were not to your satisfaction then you should not have made the booking at this premises.Our sofa beds are used on a continuous basis and we do not have issues from other guests.With regards to the wi-fi it is my understanding that when the staff member appeared to sort the problem out for you the 'Netflix channel was being watched so the wi-fi was working, also we had no complaints from any other room that weekend regarding the wi-fi.Lastly your booking was for two nights and not three so I don't think we should be responsible for the wi-fi not working whereever you stayed on the third night.

We have stayed many places as we have driven around the country. The James Suites was one of our favorites. The lodgings were lovely and comfortable. The hospitality was outstanding. Thank you, Cam!

Hi ShannonAs you have not given a reason as to why you have left such a low review score I can only presume that because you brought 4 people and paid for 3 the room was not as comfortable as it might have been.We can only act and try and improve our offering when we are informed as to why a guest is not happy.

Bad/Hot stay
Publié le 10 sept. 2023 sur HotelsBeautiful city with rich history… but it was HOT. We came during a heatwave (which I booked months in advance) so I’ll give them that much. But there is no AC so whatever temperature it is outside, add 5 degrees for inside. It was a fight to get a fan delivered. Don’t book if you’re looking for a hotel experience.

Thank you for your review but I think it is very unfair to blame us for the very hot weather you endured during your stay and my understanding of the situation regarding your fan request was that two fans were delivered within 30 mins.
