This large 3 bdroom 2 bath in the gated comunity of Sierra Park at an elevation of 5000ft, is wonderful for family fun. The community has a local lake and play ground. It has full kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 smart tv/dvd, 2 gas fireplaces, 2 story, bbq, 2 huge decks, bbq/charcoal, sleeps 10 guests. Just 10 minutes from Dodge Ridge and Pinecrest lake, 3 minutes from Long Barn Ice rink. 90 minutes to Yosemite, 30 minutes to Columbia state Park, and Black oak Casino.

CLEANING:
We have always and will continue to use clorox, lysol cleaners, disinfectant sprays, and laundry sanitizer, vinegar, bleach as appropriate for each surface type. We clean following CDC covid regulations and procedures. Our crews wear protective masks and gloves. We have always taken great care to protect our guests! You should leave it tidy, rinsed dishes go into dishwasher so there's no ants etc. Cabins blankets and towels stay at the cabin. The crew does the rest.

* We provide cleaning service after your departure for a fee so you do not have to clean on your vacation. We follow covid protocols and procedures, per vrbo listing information for California no contact entry. Leave your bedding and towels for the contractors to clean.

* Our cabin sleeps up to 10 and provides great lodging for families.
* Pets only allowed with approval, pets under 20lbs, No Smoking, No parties.

Loved our stay
We all had a wonderful time playing in the snow on the property and at Leland snow park. All of us went ice skating at the near by skate rink too. Very good location seeing that it is so close to fun activities for children and adults alike. The property was very clean and suited all of our needs. We were a group of ten plus one dog. There was plenty of space and sleeping accommodations for us all. Property management is easy to communicate with and answered all our questions in a very timely manor. Very pleased with the whole experience.

Really beautiful area
The cabin was great with nice comfy beds and plenty of parking. I slept on the bottom bunk bed, which was long enough for my 5.9 length with a very comfortable mattress. The shower pressure was nice, but as it says in the binder take short showers and space them out. The fireplace heated the cabin nicely so we didn't need to use the heater much. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in cabin #2.

Great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay. Great communication with the host - she was flexible with our needs and accommodated our dog. Good location, plenty of room for our family. We enjoyed the area but mostly ate in - the kitchen was well appointed for our needs.

Really nice stay and the location was very nice! House was perfect size. Only thing went wrong was our clicker to enter gated community didn’t work and cell phone service was almost non existent to contact management. But it all got figured out & would definitely stay again!

Cute and comfy cabin
First, let me say that this review is for summer. When I read the reviews they sounded like they were winter reviews. The cabin was PERFECT! The location has a private lake which is great for children. It also has a park. Walking throughout the area was also great with kiddos. It’s so quiet and peaceful my children kept saying. Having coffee on the deck was the highlight for me due to the view. My children loved eating on the deck as well. I stay in a lot of VRBO’s with my kiddos because it’s just easier when you are staying multiple days. This property was one of my favorites. It comes with all the kitchen gadgets you need. I went into it as a cabin…which means bring everything you need. Yes, you do need to bring toilet paper and paper towels. Yes, you do need to bring hand soap and bleach wipes. We were supposed to bring our dog which ended up not happening because of the severe heat we were hit with so we ended up not bringing him. In hindsight I’m glad we didn’t bring him because he wouldn’t be able to go to the lake with the kiddos. That’s not necessarily a negative because he doesn’t like the water and I can honestly say I’m glad there weren’t dogs there. Our dog doesn’t bark but I know others do and not everyone is a fan of cleaning up after their dogs which is something I don’t want my children stepping. Overall, the manager was easy to communicate with and the property is a must for people wanting to get away from the hustle of daily city life! We will be back!

Cozy cabin
Cabin was great! Linens and pillows were comfortable. The gas fireplaces were very warm and there were space heaters in every room. Neighborhood is very nice, I would definitely stay here again. Darlene was very responsive and answered all of my questions even though the answers were all in the cabin.

Amazing winter getaway!
My family had such a amazing time. This cabin was perfect for us! The kids had a blast, and so did us adults. Definitely a great location. We all enjoyed the private tobagon hill, it was so nice to be able to have the kids play in the snow without having to deal with the hustle and bustle of the hwy. Location of cabin is definitely a 10 out of 10. The check-in process was so easy. Cabin was clean and spacious. The views are amazing, peaceful, and serene! Can't wait to come back next year! Thank you for all your time and effort you have put in your property! We had a blast!

Beautiful place, brain chains in the winter.
Our hosts were very accommodating at this beautiful property in a beautiful neighborhood. The cabin itself was conveniently located near snow, park city, ski resorts, lakes, etc. We were worried about a big storm coming in, and in fact, it did come. We failed to bring chains and should have brought change and nearly didn’t make it out without professional assistance as a result.

Nice Family Time
We had a nice stay at this cabin with immediate family celebrating my dad’s life. Main floor was upstairs with front room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. Deck was a nice size. Lower level would be a great area for kids to hang out, sleep and it has it’s own bathroom. You can definitely hear people walking around in the kitchen in the morning which was a bummer for those sleeping downstairs. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Little cabin in nice development
We stayed here with our two children and our friends who also have 2 kids. The kids enjoyed all the games and playing outside in the snow. On our last day, we went sledding & cross-country skiing in the large open space across the street. The house layout wasn't ideal for eight people. The kitchen was well stocked but very small. The large bedroom doesn't have a door separating from the living space so it was hard to sleep if others were awake. It was also downstairs, which meant it was extra loud when people were walking around the living room overhead and it was cold without a separate heat source. Overall we had a good time but didn't sleep well and it felt crowded during mealtimes.

Be prepared to bring supplies
Positives first: the property was very clean, the beds were extremely soft and cozy, the furnace warmed up the cabin very quickly. Now the negatives: The beds were unmade and the dishwasher was full, which meant the first thing we needed to do when we arrived late at night with two grumpy kids was make some beds and the first thing we had to do in the morning was unload the dishwasher. The listing mentioned there was a coffee maker, which was true, but there were no filters, so we ended up having to make cowboy coffee in the morning. The listing also mentioned two gas fireplaces, but neither of them worked. There were no toiletries of any kind, including hand soap; we had to use dishwashing soap to wash our hands after using the bathroom. We had ample toilet paper for our weekend visit, but future guests should make sure to bring their own. There are no trash cans in the unit; we had to tie plastic bags to various door knobs to collect our tissues and food waste. Altogether, it was a fairly nice cabin that suffered from a lack of critical supplies (coffee filters and hand soap) and the odd and frustrating decision not to supply trash cans.

Family vacation
We stayed here with family from out of town for the thanksgiving holiday. The kids had a blast on the huge decks playing with all of the toys and games that were available to us. Nice and spacious for everyone not to feel cramped up. Great location in a gated community with a fun little park and lake to explore. Such great memories made this weekend!

Great for Families
We stayed here as part of a multi-family trip with young kids to go Skiing at Dodge Ridge. The property was just right for our group. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots etc for us to prepare breakfasts & dinner. One of the reviews mentions the lack of cell phone connectivity as a negative. Personally for our group it was great because we all got a chance to disconnect. The cabin had some kids friendly movie DVDs to keep the kids entertained after dinner. Tips For Other Travelers: 1. The property is a gated community and Darlene sends instructions for picking up the Gate Opener from an office which is right on 108 and about 5 miles before the exit for the property. If you are coming in multiple cars plan on reaching together. 2. There is absolutely no cell phone reception of any kind.. even Verizon phones struggled to make calls. We always carry Motorola Walkie-Talkies in each car that can be used without a license. Came in handy when trying to communicate with other cars in our party.

Nice and cozy cabin
We stayed here on Christmas. The cabin was very nice and cozy. The kitchen was very well stocked. The heater worked well and heated the cabin quickly. We went to Dodge Ridge (~25 min drive), Pinecrest Lake, Leland Snowplay and Long Barn ice rink and had a lot of fun. Yes, we would stay here again. The only inconvenience was the lack of Internet. Verizon signal was very weak, we could make voice calls, but no data.

Cabin was as advertised
Cute cabin and was exactly as advertised. Very clean and cozy and had everything we needed. There wasn't much snow at the cabin and but the driveway is pretty steep and anyone with a vehicle without all-wheel or 4-wheel drive may have trouble pulling into the driveway if there is a lot of snow or ice. Was a little inconvenient when checking out as you have to drop off the clicker for the main gate in the lock box at the property manager's office in Mi-Wuk Village (you leave the cabin key in a lock box at the cabin). If you are planning on skiing at Dodge Ridge that day, you need to drive down 8 miles the opposite direction to Mi-Wuk and then drive back up to Dodge Ridge. Would be easier if there was a 2nd lock box for the gate opener at the cabin.

When my daughter first got there my grandson had to sweep the porch due to pollen and debris.
When arriving the porch was a mess my grandson had to sweep it off by the next day to towels to get rid of all the pollen. That’s weren’t mean I have a picture of the new bed sheets that were left on every bed. Call Darlene she said they wash them and put them back in the containers I have pictures that they were brand new . It is to bad as we will never go through her again bad management . Have used HomeAway a couple of times but won’t use her if she is a home Manager.
