Le seul bémol est que le mode de chauffage ne me permettait pas d'avoir la température qui me convenait par le temps froid et venteux qui régnait ce soir et cette nuit là. Belle piscine, bien chauffée. Bon petit déjeuner avec encore un bémol: pas de toasts, mais un toaster et le beurre qui va bien.

We chose Chautaqua for a room with an ocean view to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. The ocean was further away than we expected, but we still appreciated the view. We were on the 3rd floor & there was only one elevator. We would have appreciated one closer to our room. The room was immaculate. We had breakfast provided on the day we left. There was lots to choose from & it was all good.

The potential for the property to be in really good shape is there, but I’m sure there’s only one maintenance person available to do all the work for that entire property. The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on in my life and it was broken. Half of the lights weren’t working and the clock on the wall hadn’t had their batteries changed in a while. The floor in the bedroom was terribly stained and the bathroom walls were extremely outdated and falling apart. We spent a lot of money for a nice weekend just for them to tell us that our five-year-old can’t go in the hot tub. With a little bit more maintenance that place could be really nice and the owners need to do something about the hot tub situation. I also have never been told my kid can’t go in a hot tub anywhere we have ever stayed! The staff was friendly, there were sand toys left out on the porch for the kids if they wanted them. I just think that this place needs a little bit more work to make it somewhere I would want to come back to.

I love the location next to the dunes that lead to the beach. My rooms are always clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I also love the continental breakfast.
