Great hidden gem
Publié le 6 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayOur experience was superior. Our check in was great. House had everything needed. We got cold and our host Margaret immediately sent someone over. This was a great experience and our host made everything even better. Would definitely rent her home again without hesitation. I had car trouble the day before we left and needed to extend my stay and she readily stepped in to accommodate my family and was truly concerned for our safety.

Amazing stay and location!

December getaway

We had to switch to Inn Kognito1 due to hot tub not working in original rental, but the owner was very accommodating in switching us. The new place was larger but some of the furniture was a little tired. The place was very clean and the kitchen well appointed. The grounds were very nice.

An amazing retreat!

It had all the amenities we could of ever asked for and plenty of room for everyone. The property was well maintained and very clean.
It has such a beautiful setting and it was only around 10-15 minutes from town, it was nice to be secluded, but also close to everything.
I would definitely recommend it for family's, who want to get away in the woods for a few days!

Perfect location and amenities

We enjoyed using the canoe, fishing in the small lake, sunset views, cozy fireplace and the hot tub. The location was perfect for getting to lots of areas for hiking and enjoying the fall foliage.

Girls Fall Trip to Poconos
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayInn Cognito was very clean and organized. We loved lake setting and it was warm enough for boating one day. Neighborhood was good for walking and deer spotting. We did day trips to Jim Thorpe for train ride and longer day trip to Hershey museum and Amish experience. So much to do!
We did not encounter any issues. Owner was easy to communicate with. Notified us when she was coming to pick up trash. Simple lake house. Not complaining-but sofas could use some extra pillows or updating for soft seniors!

Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayVery accurate listing description/pics. Home was spotless / smelled great and clean up on arrival. Great communication with owner. Located on a cute small lake. Was nice to have canoes / kayaks / life jackets available.
