HI Sarah, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. The pool is indeed available to our guests and not sure how you received this misinformation as it is also noted in our description. Given the unique environment of this condo on the grounds of a resort complex, we make every effort to ensure guests are fully aware of the available amenities and have ensured that the information is outlined in our property description, re-iterated in our confirmation details, re-iterated in our check-in information and reconfirmed at check-in when keys are obtained. We understand that having to come to our office which is 4.8 miles north of the complex can seem an inconvenience after one sees that the resort complex has an office on site but we are renting a privately owned condominium, not the resort property nor the resort and club services. As we are not a part of the resort community, our owners have been able to price their condos more competitively since one is renting a self-catering condo and not renting in a resort with full services environment. Yet the property is still located on an amazing stretch of beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. We do hope that the guests who book our managed condos see all of the information shared and the advantages for booking this condo. We apologize that the HVAC crew showed up unannounced to address the AC system. Prior to your arrival, it was discovered that the AC was having an issue and it was fortuitous that the owner was actually in town and, in conjunction with our management company, wanted to get this addressed as quickly as possible to ensure your stay was not disrupted. Sadly, a part of this resolution was a subsequent follow-up inspection to ensure everything was working so the HVAC companies can sign off on the warranties as a completed job. We were not informed in advance of this so understand your surprise and we do apologise for this disruption. The HVAC company is licensed, bonded, and insured and does its background checks on its employees. Since this condo is managed outside of the resort program, our guests do need to come to our office location on the island to obtain keys.
