The hotel is on the main street of a pictureque Cornish fishing village and has its own gated car park across the street from the hotel. The narrow street is not noisy because it is 'access only' for cars.
The place is clean and tastefully decorated and is run by the friendly owners and their equally friendly staff.
No food is offered except a very good breakfast menu which is waitress served. An 'honesty bar' is available.
This was our second visit to the Claremont and we would be very happy to stay again if we return to Polperro.

Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HotelsThe hotel was spotless and the breakfast was top nosh. Service was spot on and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The lounge was comfortable and they had an honesty bar which was quite well stocked.

Lovely warm hotel

Hotel right in the heart of the village , great for the harbour , pubs and eateries . Only downside for us was the room in the attic number 12 , not for us the staff called it the marmite room you either love it or hate it and we were the latter , to much pine a very small toilet next to the bed and dated .
