What a lovely apartment. Perfectly located, well appointed, clean, spacious and comfortable.

Lorne experience

The apartment was clean and had all the essentials we needed for our week stay, including a coffee machine with pods. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay however Chris and Pearse went out of their way and provided us vouchers to the Lorne Sea Baths so our kids could use the pool there. All in all we were very happy and would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here as we would definitely book here again. Thank u Chris and Pearse for a wonderful stay.

Publié le 11 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayAlthough we had already stayed at the Cumberland in Lorne on several occasions over the past few years, we were thrilled to be able to bring our beloved dog for the first time, due to the hosts’ welcoming pet policy. Chris was friendly, helpful and available to answer questions and offer assistance when needed. We really appreciated how much care had been taken to create a ‘home away from home’. The extra large balcony with a lovely ocean view is definitely a highlight. We look forward to returning!

We enjoy meeting our guests and helping as much as possible to create the perfect relaxing holiday break. We are very lucky to be located along the iconic Great OCean Road, and so centrally located in the township of Lorne. Everything is on your door step and the perfect launching pad for day trips, great walks, swimming and surfing. At the end of the day there are so many restaurants and cafes to enjoy an evening meal or a quiet drink. The two bedroom apartment is a little oasis for quiet down time and enjoying the views of Lorne and across the bay to Aireys Inlet and the lighthouse from the balcony. Mixed experience.
Publié le 24 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayApartment is pleasant, well equipped (needs a set of larger bowls for soup, cereal etc), with a lovely balcony & in an excellent, central location. The communications from Chris & Pearse were excellent & very friendly at all times.
Unfortunately our holiday there was impacted tremendously by a boisterous celebration until 2:30am in an adjacent apartment, followed by 3 days of incessant grinding & drilling due to renovations being completed in the complex’s indoor pool. It was extremely loud & invasive, vibrating throughout the entire apartment for hours on end. My husband has some dementia & he became extremely vexed by the intolerable noise. Although no fault of the property owners, we were very disappointed & frustrated by the constant harassment. It did spoil our stay in Lorne & we feel we did not receive the quality of accommodation we should have, for the fees charged.

We are sorry that you were disappointed with your time with us and we will take on board all of your helpful suggestions. It is very disappointing for all owners and guests that the swimming pool complex is closed for renovations and the impact the work has caused you. We love hosting guests at A107 and work hard on having the apartment looking its best. Communication is very important and in this instance we seem to have fallen and understand that you feel that you did not experience the peaceful break that you hoped for. I will pass on your comments about the noise you experienced, both the party next door and the construction noise. Short but sweet!

Chris was extremely accomodating and communicative with all aspects of the check-in and check-out process along with great detail in how to access the property. Would definitely stay again.

Convenient location and nice view across to Point Addis.
Well sized 2- bedroom apartment with lots of space.
Would highly recommend.
