This townhome is located in a peaceful neighborhood steps from the sand, restaurants, markets, cafes and shops. On this quaint street, enjoy a spacious unit that is flooded with natural light and peekaboo views of the ocean from the balcony. Enjoy a lazy day sunbathing watching the local surfers, get active with a volleyball game or bike/skate/walk/run down the famous Strand path adjacent to the ocean. Perfect for a relaxing getaway or somewhere to stay while traveling for work! This unit accommodates 8 people comfortably (2 bedrooms with queen beds in each, one queen pull out sofa bed and two queen air mattresses available).

South Bay Beach Cities (Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo, El Segundo, Playa Del Rey) are upscale and easy-going beach communities. They're definitely a "bubble", separated enough from the bustle of LA that they feel like a true escape. This unit is convenient to all the LA beaches, LAX, Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Downtown LA. It is a short drive from Disneyland, Universal Studios, and other attractions in Southern CA or you can easily hop on the coast to visit other popular California landmarks!

-Half block from the famous Strand Beach Path. The Strand" starts at Will Rogers State Beach and travels through all of the South Bay beach communities and 2 harbors: Marina del Rey and King Harbor at Redondo Beach.
-Close Proximity to Manhattan and Hermosa Beach Pier

-10 minute drive (5 miles) to/from LAX !

Three minutes walk down to the beach, loved that they had beach chairs and toys and wagon. Plenty of towels and bedding, comfy beds and super soft sheets. Responsive host.

Second stay - needs a little TLC
This is a hard review to write, as the host was super-responsive to an internet issue I had. We stayed at the same property 2 years ago as it is close to our in-laws. Proximity to beach is great, so I could work when needed and the kids could bike/play. But after a few nights my back was killing me from the old mattress. But a plus for VRBO here, as the same property was more expensive on the main competitor site.

Great location with all comforts of home
This condo is very tastefully decorated and includes everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for enjoying all MB has to offer within a stone throw to the strand. A bonus is the ability to park up to to 3 compact cars or 2 full size. Owner was very communicative and responsive. Will definitely look to return next time we visit the area..

Gorgeous Beach House
The number one best thing is the location! A couple minutes walk to the beach. The most surprising thing is how beautiful the accommodations are. From the furniture to the beds and bedding to the fully stocked kitchen. We also appreciated the garage parking. We had a Corolla and a RAV4 parked, no problem. We never moved our cars after that, we walked! Even to the store. This is a good spot!

Fantastic Spot!
My wife and I were visisting from Houston. This place was very close to the beach and shops. You can walk the boardwalk to all the shops and restaurants. They have all the amenities you will need to hangout at the beach. The parking is so easy and convenient. We would definitly stay here again.

This bungalow was a treat and was everything I had hoped for. The walking distance to the beach, restaurants and bars was perfect, and the beach supplies in the garage and bedroom closet provided everything we needed. The bungalow was clean, comfortable, and the property manager was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Close to the beach
Exactly as shown in pictures. Close walk to the beach, although the incline on the way back is significant. Nicely stocked with towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc and plenty of bath towels, toilet paper and other essentials. We rented a minivan and were not able to get it into the driveway due to how low it was to the ground and the "dip" as you pull in. We did hear quite a bit of noise from the unit above us, just normal walking around, but something to note if you're sensitive to noise. Overall, a good value!

Overall, this is a nice little spot. It worked out well for my husband and I and my sister and her husband. We were in town for a wedding. My husband and I used to live about four streets over so we know the area well. It is a little bit of a walk, but it is walkable to the pier. Management was very responsive to any requests. Things to note: the lighting is interesting, I flipped the switches when we arrived, and I didn’t do anything. You need to kind of check each lamp individually and try to turn it on at the source. There is no laundry detergent or softener (we couldn’t find any). Also, there are enough coffee filters there to last years having coffee every day. My sister and I went to the store and couldn’t remember if we saw coffee filters there so we bought a package only to return to what seems a handful of people having done the exact same thing! Lol The only other thing I would say is that there needs to be some kind of sign to designate parking for the particular unit so no one else parks there. We only had a car one of the days and everything was fine, but if we’d been driving the evening of the wedding it would have been very inconvenient to return to someone parked in our spot in front of the garage. Luckily, we used a Uber and the car was gone by the time we woke up in the morning. All in all it’s well stocked, cozy, and exactly what you would expect to find if you were staying in a little beach bungalow. Would stay again.
